VCA 80 Dodge Animal Hospital

Very nice doctors and techs, however extremely pricey. I took my cat there several weeks ago because it was after hours for my normal vet and he needed immediate attention. Based on their recommendations for care, I would have spent $1200-$1500, with another possible surgery costing thousands more. When I asked what my options were if I could not afford that treatment, she said he would need to be put down. After determining my cat’s injuries were not life threatening, and that they would not be able to do the recommended work until Monday anyway, I took him home and got into my regular vet on Monday (today.) My vet did an exam and X-ray for about 10% of what VCA wanted to charge me. He also didn’t agree with their recommendations, and offered a more reasonable and affordable approach to treatment. While my kitty may still need additional care, I’m glad I listened to my gut and got a second option instead of just handing over my credit card or worse- putting him down.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! The vet was very knowledgeable and I felt like my cat got excellent care in an emergency situation for a reasonable price. All of the staff were very nice and helpful.

The staff and doctors here are very friendly and you can tell they love animals. Hours of available appointments is wonderful and can work for almost any schedule. Have been bringing my pets here for 20 years and will continue to do so.

My husband and I had to bring our dog in for an emergency last night. The staff and the Doctor were wonderful. We ended up having to put our beloved dog to sleep and I could not express the compassion and professionalism that was given to my husband and I. It was a horrible evening but the staff made it bearable. I can not say enough about this Animal Hospital. We will be switching to them immediately for our other dog.

Their staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, they provide a great level of care and personalization. Brought my roommates dog in while he was out of town and they recognized him immediately! The only problem I have with this place is the location and construction in the area at this time. Getting out of their parking lot can be very time consuming and dangerous.

Super clean facility filled with terrific, friendly staff. It really does seem to be a full service operation, complete with surgery, dental, and grooming services. The folks there took great care of us when our older dog was having an episode we worried was some sort of seizure.

My cat had gall bladder stones and had a feeding tube in place. Over the weekend, he vomited up his feeding tube and in a panic we tried going to different vets, but no one was open that we were familiar with. We took Gomez to the VCA 80 Dodge Animal Hospital where they treated him. They replaced his feeding tube. They were very kind and caring to my cat. They were more knowledgable about things than my general vet wasn't even aware of. They even called and left me a voice message to check up on how he was doing. I had a really great experience with them, and would recommend them. Great customer service!

Great service, knowledgeable doctors, friendly staff. We love the VCA care club, we've unfortunately had to use all five of our visits.

They are always so nice! My dog does not like getting her nails cut, but they are so good with her and do a great job! They have been cutting her nails for 8 years now and I won't take her anywhere else!!

It was fantastic. They do curbside pickup of your pet, they communicate via phone and give you options for you pets care. I took our 12 year old dog and our brand new puppy. It went very well.
