Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel

I used to really enjoy staying here. Overall, every past stay was great except for the last one. I was in town for a quick business trip and valeted my rental car overnight with the Kimpton valet service. The next morning I checked out of my room and asked for my car. The car was brought back operating extremely loud and with the check engine light on. I later found out that the catalytic converter was stolen while in the possession of the valet. When I called and asked to speak to the hotel manager about the situation, once Avis confirmed the catalytic converter was stolen, they forwarded me to the young man who ran the valet team. He was a nice man but overwhelmed by the situation and told me there was nothing he could do because his valet team was not responsible for the damage. In the end, after spending $1000's in the hotel and hotel restaurants over the last nine months, I would expect something more from the hotel management team, like an apology for the inconvenience. Instead, I received nothing.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. We stayed 4 nights. Everything from the pool to the rooms was perfect. Staff was very friendly. If we ever come back to Omaha, this will be my go to hotel.

We had our wedding at the Cottonwood hotel and it blew our expectations out of the water! The food was delicious. The bartender kept the drinks flowing to our guests. The staff was fantastic, and they were available to help thought out the busy day. Gabby and James took great care of us while planning our wedding, as well as on the big day. We had a great time and we can’t wait to go back and stay at the hotel.

I held a work retreat there for a small group for end of year planning and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Before any plans were made we were given a tour and the history of the hotel by the Sales Manager who was great! When it came time to plan the event, I was introduced to a team of people who each were tasked with a purpose to make everything run smooth...from setting up the hotel rooms, audio visual and of course food and drinks! Every time I emailed with a question, I received a timely response...always professional and courteous. I would highly recommend The Kimpton Cottonwood for your personal and professional needs x100!!!

Best place to visit went went family the rooms were clean the food was amazing the valet took care of our car here name was Nicole if you ever have a family get to gether please to to Kimpton I recommend it

Exceptional service and accommodations! My husband and I recently stayed 6 nights (Dec 2021) at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha, NE! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the valet staff to the final checkout at the front desk, everything was perfect. The entire staff was professional and attentive, providing service beyond expectations and always with a smile. The restaurants on site are top rated and highly recommended … we enjoyed them all. Last but not least, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and meticulously clean. We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool!

Elegant hotel with great location in downtown Omaha. Room was very clean and quiet. The front desk agent, Britanie was very friendly and helpful. Had a minor issue, the manager Allison immediately took care of it. The housekeeping was outstanding, very fast to get what I needed. Highly recommend anyone planning a stay in downtown Omaha for business or pleasure, because I know I will again.

Beautiful space, impeccable renovation. We had lunch at the Committee Chophouse and it was fantastic. Great food, wonderful service.

This place is the real deal. I can't even emphasize how much my family And I loved this place. From the front desk(Allie and Emily) in particular to the amazing pool staff the service is beyond amazing. Btw the pool is something to be seen as you would never know you were in Nebraska as it gives off a smaller Vegas and Miami vibe. Thank you so much cottonwood for this wonderful stay

The Property is very nice with a beautiful pool lounge area, the only downfall was the pool is open to non guests so it loses some of it's exclusiveness and it's a free for all to get a spot.
