Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel

Hotel lobby is gorgeous with lots of places to linger. Rooms are nice as well. I love that it's very pet friendly! I wasn't there long enough to use the pool but it is my dream pool with lots of places to tan while still submerged a bit. Would love to go back for a pool day if I was ever in the area again.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as a vacation before our first baby arrives and it was perfect! The whole vibe of the hotel was spot on for staying somewhere just a little more special than a regular hotel. The rooms were spacious and big bathroom shower area. We loved our little balcony to relax for breakfast. We have stayed at Kimpton hotels in the past and this one was another great stay. Staff was very friendly and I love the texting option if you need anything! The outdoor pool was phenomenal, it was busy but we knew it would be. Food, drinks and DJ were great. I would say I wasn’t expecting as many children as there was there. Know going in there aren’t many parking options around the hotel (maybe a parking ramp a few blocks down). But you will need to valet your car, which we happily did. We went to The Committee Chophouse, the Cottonwood Room & the coffee/breakfast cafe , all were fantastic! Thanks for making this a great and relaxing stay for these parents to be!

The cottonwood bar downstairs is phenomenal. Great staff and cocktails. The tequila base espresso martini is a must try.

This was one of the coolest hotels I have stayed in! The rooms were fabulous! The ambiance in the entire place was so cool. I will recommend to anyone I know!!

I got the chance to DJ at this fabulous spot and every one was amazing to work with. But the vallet team is outstanding! Especially Mike! Definitely coming back to stay next time I'm in Omaha.

I love that kimpton kept a lot of their original character of the hotel. The downer was that overnight parking fee is 30 bucks. However there is no pet fee and it's pet friendly is why I chose to stay here it's opposed to another hotel. Although taxes were 40 bucks which kind of zero'd that out. This is a great place for celebrations like weddings, graduations et cetera. though was pretty disappointed in the casual restaurant not having half the items on the menu available. Breakfast was delicious.

We have enjoyed designing and producing events at Cottonwood Hotel. They have multiple beautiful spaces available for our wedding clients and their food and beverage is top notch. This is by far one of the very best hotels in the Midwest. The attention to details and customer service is unmatched. We had a great New Years party there and spent the night. The rooms are nice, clean, modern and most of all quiet. Absolutely worth a try whether you are traveling through or having a stay-cation.

Stunning renovation. My wife & I were staying here for a wedding with our 4mo daughter, had our parents in another room to baby sit. We had a mishap with our reservation on the first night, hotel accidentally cancelled one of our rooms. The Kimpton absolutely bent over backwards to ensure that we were taking care of.

Good afternoon, I wanted to say how nice the stay was when we were there 8/4-8/7. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was very helpful. The valet guys were always working hard even when it was 100 degrees out. The only complaint I have was on Friday 8/5 we went to the bar in the hotel and was very displeased with the service from the young lady who was working that night. When we sat down around 9:45pm it was pretty empty. The bar tenders seemed like they were annoyed we were there and didn't take our drink order for a couple minutes. We thought they maybe closed around 10pm so we understood if they were not pleased. We ordered 3 drinks and the total came to about $42 and some change. We gave $50.00 and the lady bartender that was working that night asked my mother if she wanted change. She felt on the spot when she asked that said she didn't need change so left her the $7.00 tip. Being in the service industry I would never have asked that to anyone. I would have put the money on the bar and let the customer decide how much to leave. She never even said thank you. The rest of the night we were at the bar, come to find out they closed at 12am, she never asked us if we wanted another drink. The other gentleman asked us and we decided to get another round. He never once asked if we needed change and just put the change back on the bar. The previous night we were also at the bar and both gentleman working were very nice, polite and efficient. Thank you for the wonderful stay and I just wanted to inform you about the bar experience we had the one night that left a sour taste in my mouth.
