First off I want to say I get it when hotels are under construction so I take that into consideration before I review. There is only one person checking in at the front desk. When you get to room be prepared to step into 1970’s, sticky floors, sinks don’t drain and pillows the size of throw pillows you would expect on couches. Keep your shoes by the side of the bed because you’re not going to want to touch the floors with bare feet. Tried to call front desk to ask for more pillows however no answer after about 100 rings, I’m sure no answer due to only one person working the front desk. Absolutely would NOT recommend if you’re needing a quick hotel until they remodel the WHOLE facility not just the outside. The whole place needs a face lift. I would have given a no star but you can’t when writing a review. So here’s your ZERO star for a dirty, nasty hotel.

Right in right out and hate to leave. Such an ebb and flow to the whole experience and very conscious of those non smokers, to have for them, a closed off area. Cool. Vibes from staff sure to make you stay and relax. With this change, who wouldn't stay longer?

The machines are cheap if ur low on money but the atmosphere is usually relaxed and very clean

The rooms were nice and extremely comfortable. The staff at the hotel and casino were great!

Horribly bad, toilet leaking they came to fix still leaking 2 days later. Casino DIRTY. Casino bathroom had inches of dust. Ask for extra pillows but they said they didn’t have any extras. Our room bathtub looked like it was never cleaned. No daily maid service to come in and vacuum or make beds. Handicap parking way to far away from front door. A horrible experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!!!

What a fun staycation! We went to the Leon Bridges concert and stayed the night. I recently had surgery so walking has been hard but this lovely room combined with the concert really made for a great weekend. And boy was it needed! Thank you for the great stay!

My husband has 9 surviving cousins and about 6 months ago his Aunt and her daughter started planning a cousin reunion. Their decision was made to have this event in a private party room, at the upscale restaurant, 360, on the top floor of Harrahs Hotel and Casino. In Council Bluffs, Iowa. From the vantage point of 360 customers have a view of the Missouri River Front and across the river from Omaha, Nebraska skyline. The service is exceptional. The servers are outfitted in black and white tuxedo style uniforms. We were a large group including our spouses and partners. We all had a magnificent time. Dinner was 5 star. Cocktails were tasty., with a large selection of wines. Following dinner we all retired to lovely adjoining rooms to continue with catch up conversation, and night caps. So if your in the Metro area, enjoy a very nice casino experience, along with an upscale dinner, and excellent overnight accommodations, Harrahs may very well be a good choice. The reunion was a huge success Thanks very much to 360 !!!

At Harrah’s Council Bluff’s the Customer Service was awful!! This is the worst Caesar’s property I’ve ever been to! They gave me the run around for the Diamond parking. First they said I had to get a special parking pass at the Laurel Lounge. After waiting an hour for it to open, the Laurel Lounge said they didn’t know why I was told that because the passes are at the Horseshoe. When I went to the Horseshoe they said their machine was down and had been for weeks. So no using my perk and parking in Diamond parking lot! Waisted trip to Horseshoe. Now back to Harrah’s. The Laurel Lounge had salad and soup for dinner. One type of soup and brown salad. Terrible!! At check in the lady gave no information about rooms or parking. The other lady scolded my husband for walking in the dusty carpet since they were doing construction in the lobby. Very unfriendly! Very unhappy workers!! No hosts on property because the casino is very small. Spoke with manager about the service and he was very disinterested. He never asked for my name. Do yourself a favor and skip Council bluffs. Drive the extra hour ir so and go to Sioux City at Hard Rock Casino. I was treated better there and I didn’t even have a card!!! It’s pretty bad when you’re treated better somewhere that you don’t spend money at than somewhere you give all your business to!!

Didn't go in this time went to go see Foreigner and that was quite an ordeal but inside was nice there was no pushing with all no fights. Only a few of us once in a while trying to light up a cigarette or the only thing keeping the bouncers busy. 🤭 Of the girl standing in line with me and then with my biker friend Matt who was my chaperone for the night or should I say friend, good friend, he doesn't like to be called my chaperone 😁😅

I only visited the casino, not the hotel. Although the facility is not especially new or well-maintained, the slots machines, at least, were mostly modern and nice. The speakers had been disabled on one whole bank of machines that I wanted to play, so the volume controls didn't work, which was a bummer. Also, much of the facility appears to be undergoing remodeling so hopefully it'll be nicer sooner... just in time for competition in Nebraska. The slots were fun and I had a good time. Within 15 minutes on the first machine I played, I was up $440 net. But it was too soon to leave, I had just got there. So I ended up hanging around for 2 hours and losing everything I had carried in there. A good time was had by some.
