Confusion! Price on website versus what you will actually be paying is different, plus could not accommodate days I needed. I got a quote over the phone and was told I just needed to call back with a payment method so I did the next day. 3 days later I called back just to confirm my reservation because I got an email saying that my quote was expiring. Found out there was no reservation on file after I had supplied my payment method and the dates I had reserved were no longer available. Worst experience ever especially during the stress of trying to move.

I recently moved across the country and used Pods to transport a majority of my items. The initial booking went well, and Pods seemed like the best option for me. All was going well until I went to take my items to my Pod at one of their partner/vendor facilities. The person who operated the facility decided to leave early for the day. I was unable to access my Pod, which delayed all my deliveries. I had to obtain temporary storage for my items and return on another day to move my items again. I ended up opening a ticket with Pods, and that ticket has still NOT been resolved. I think they could be an okay provider, but it seems their oversight of partners/vendors is highly lacking and their customer service is horrible. If you have any issues expect to be waiting a least 20 minutes before you even speak to anyone. Once you do speak to someone, don't expect them to be helpful.

They are playing games and trying to blame me because theyPlace the order for two pods instead of one pond at $300 a piece they had told me it would be August 15thBut now they're telling me it's going to be August 19th I want my pod and I want my $300 that they overcharged me for

I would never use PODS ever again in my life. They forgot that they don't deliver on Sunday's when my PODS were scheduled to deliver. I had to hire a moving company to get my things out of my pods and then the moving company had to deliver my stuff to my home. Not PODS like I had ordered. Had PODs of done we would have been without our things for another month!! Be careful, I highly recommend using another company for your moving needs.

I was very surprised. Everything went smooth and as promised. I was very skeptical all the way up to the delivery time to our new home. I didn't believe it would show up when promised. Everybody. and I mean everybody we dealt with was so professional on always on time. Great experience, I would very much recommend them to anybody moving! Thanks PODS, for helping us through a difficult time & getting us to our end destination as promised :-)

PODS delivery at new residence scheduled for 10/12. Called that morning and confirmed that PODS were on schedule. Two hours later, PODS calls back and says PODS won't be delivered until 10/21. Even better, they didn't know where my PODS were. Promised to call me back and never did. I called again on 10/13. Now PODS are in town and have been since 10/12. Asked for PODS to be delivered that day. They refused. Said 10/21 was the earliest delivery date. Had to rent a U-Haul and go to the warehouse to get my stuff. And still haven't received the promised phone call from an escalation specialist to address the issue. Best thing PODS could do for people is go out of business.

EDIT: After emailing the social media account, Kelsey Moncibaiz stepped up and got this resolved for us right away. Wish we could give her 5 Stars individually for working so quickly, when the rest of the customer service was unresponsive. We are being sent a check in the mail soon - thank you Kelsey! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Due to a clerical error on PODS' side, we were charged for two months, instead of 1 month! We have tried calling multiple times and have received promises that we would receive a credit and/or someone would reach out to us within 24-48 hours. This has been going on for weeks now. Not once has anyone reached back out to us. We keep reaching out to them and receive the same comments about it being an error on their end. We cancelled our credit card so they couldn't keep charging it for unauthorized purchases. We requested them to send us a check for the refund. I have already sent them an email to that social media email. Please do not comment back on contacting that account, please just send us the refund of $237.28!

Absolutely the worst experience with this company. First, they ran credit card twice which caused my payment to decline. Then paid it online as directed to ensure delivery still happened that same day. Day goes by and no POD. Called in afternoon and said that due to payment decline that Pod was a storage center. After speaking to 3 reps and then a supervisor they finally were able to get it to my location late the following day. Prior to this I had scheduled the final pick up for today 09/24 and was verified by reps 4 days prior. I go to see the status of when it is going to be picked up and it is not even scheduled anymore. Called CS and was told it was removed without explanation. The other issue is they will not let you talk to the location itself. So frustrating. I think I received an apology from only one rep during this whole process. Being in customer service myself, this is totally unacceptable. Now I am at the mercy of an email to location.

PODS storage had great customer service and really helped me obtain a unit when I needed one in my time frame. However, they are very pricey, and while they say they can help split the payments, it's still very pricey. Then they couldn't get my unit to me until 3 weeks after I was moving in, but said they couldn't pick it up until a week and a half later. They were fine, but if a different service is available next time, I know they tend to be cheaper so I'd go with them.

The Pods driver chose to return to the warehouse without delivering my Pod. He called me about placement and was rude. The parking lot was full. He could have dropped the pod by the garages but instead chose to return the pod to the warehouse and didn't bother to call me to tell me he wasn't delivering the pod. Pods phone reps continued to quote policy. This, in itself is a poor policy. Work to resolve the issue don't hide behind policy. The Pods team would not give me the number of the local warehouse. I felt I could have worked out something with them but was not given that option. Again, hiding behind policy rather than helping me get my belongings. Your team provided no value. The earliest delivery after not getting the pod was 8 days later. I travel and would have been out of town at that time. Not to mention, what was I supposed to do with the movers I hired?!?! They were not affiliated with Pods. I sourced them independently. They were awesome and the company is Black Belt Movers. Ultimately, I called the movers and they agreed to add a truck to my order, drive to the Pods facility and unload the pod into their truck. Then drive to my new home and unload it. This added an hour to my bill plus an extra $55/hour for the truck. This cost me an extra $410 all because the Pods driver was grumpy and not willing to work with me on a simple solution. A solution like dropping the pod by the garages!!! This was a terrible experience. Pods is not able to flex when challenges present themselves. Customer service is nonexistent. Simple problem solving is beyond this organization. I’m sure there must be a policy about that! I'll never use Pods again. Shawn – Omaha, NE
