I ordered a PODS and was going to store it at their facility. I ended up not using and only had it for 9 days. I paid the delivery fee and the 1st month upfront ( which was fine). I called them to pick it up and was told that I not only lost the month rent that I paid for but I still have to pay for them to pick it. The Customer Service Agent "Sam", said that they don't prorate and he would not transfer me to anyone else to assist in resolving this issue. I would not recommend them do to their poor customer service.

Worst experience moving ever. And by trait I’m a furniture mover for the last 14 years. I wasn’t told that the money comes out your account 7 days before they come do business with you. So 1137 dollars came out my account when I wasn’t ready for it this overdrafting my account and the worst part is PODS won’t compensate me the money they say that “they will have that agent coached” and that’s it. Call review was suppose to be 24-48 hours and I didn’t receive a call back for 9 days. Horrible business ethics and morals. Please if you read this reconsider you’re options.

PODS made my move across the country as easy as it could have been. I hope I don't have to move again, but if I do, I will use this service. All of the people I encountered were exceptionally pleasant to work with and talk to.

The POD was great with moving. Friendly people and knowledgeable about the buisness. Reasonably priced too! To be able to pack store and have them move all of the items was amazing. The technology of how they move the POD is unique and your items are not tossed around. Would recommend them for everyone's needs.

The worst company I've ever dealt with. When I contracted Pods I didn't have an address yet but that I was moving to Iowa. Time for the move I told them the address of my new home I'd purchased the day before and was told they don't deliver to that area and that they would have ship the pods as close as they could and I'd have to figure out how to get 3 containers of furniture and belongings to the address myself. I'm 65 and was widowed 3 months ago suddenly. I reached out to pods for help with my move and got charged over $7,000.00 to have my stuff dumped 122 miles from home when they told me No problem, you can just give us the address when you are ready to move and we'll deliver the pods to you driveway. I wished I could give them a negative -0-

Overall I will give a good to excellent service rating. The local management insured pod pickup and drop occurred on time so movers could unload on time. Weather issues prevented pickup and delivery earlier, which caused stress. The only area of improvement would be double checking what time windows are emailed to customer, to prevent an impression pods would not arrive on time. The remoting of CSR is not at fault just up channel down channel communication. A shared schedule and quality check. Put the customer in the loop with a phone call please. I appreciated the call that pod was on the way by drivers. Also the drivers ability to work around a challenging driveway.

I had the worst experience ever with PODs and would not recommend using them. While updating my credit card information my debit card number was stolen and the perpetrator stile $3k from my account. PODs did nothing to help me resolve the issue and claimed ot could not have been their system. I cancelled the POD I was supposed to have delivered because they were not willing to do a payment plan and informed them I did not have anothwr credit card to provide nor would I provide via their online system and they still attempted to charge my cancelled debit card after the POD had been cancelled. Worst experience ever!

If you want to get charged incorrectly and then have PODS help line make promises that they ignore, this is your company. Of course, once they have your credit card, you have no control over them charging you for incorrect services. Have spent a lot with them over the years, but never again. I have Mini Mobile on a project now without issue.

Our pods experience was excellent. We ended up changing from a local move to out of state & needed to purge so we went through the pod at their location since we lived in an apartment complex temporarily. The local guys were super friendly. I definitely recommend our local pods in Omaha, NE. Just make sure to schedule pick up well in advance because they've been extra busy with the crazy housing market.

The communication and responsiveness within pods is the worst I’ve experienced from a company. From the much earlier pods pickup than agreed upon (which caused a reschedule that nearly conflicted with the closing of our house) to the wrong address input by pods that made our pods delivery to our new house three days late (a family of 6 with no furniture for three days- so inconvenient!), causing us to reschedule our movers for three days also to the two extra charges to our account totaling over $900, dealing with pods has been the biggest pain and I would NEVER recommend working with them. My husband and I have made countless phone calls and spent hours on the phone trying to sort out pod delivery and pod pickup (the pods stayed in our driveway and on the street for TWO weeks because we couldn’t get answers from pods as to when they could come pick them up). We have been in our new home for 5 weeks and are still making phone calls to get the last of our extra charges refunded even though I was told by a pod associate weeks ago that it was pretty cut and dry that the charge shouldn’t have been made. I’m thankful we had the extra money in our account. I can’t imagine being strapped for cash and having $900+ unexpectedly come from your account and find it difficult to pay your bills. It was the biggest mistake choosing Pods to help us with our move.
