L & I Towing and Recovery

Predatory and downright unlawful towing practices. They towed my car for expired registration in my own apartment parking lot (someone stole my stickers) even though expired registration is not a towable offense according to my complex manager. I talked with my complex manager and apparently they are not at all following the guidelines our complex told them to follow. They are suposed to leave a number to call, they did not. And they are suposed to wait 24hrs for the problem to be fixed, they did not. Also I park next to the apartment maintenance vehicle every day, it has expired tags, broken tail light, and is full of junk. Thankfully my complex manager called them, and they will be releasing my car for free, but I'm sure they will still get away with it in other areas. I talked with a local deputy and it sounds like this is an on-going issue.

If you get your car towed by these people make sure you check your car, their incompetent tow truck drivers will most likely damage your vehicle.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Business days say they're closed on Sundays, but manager says they're open 10-4p by appt? Called 4 times every hour that Sunday with no answer or voicemail option. Unprofessional. So i got charged for the day it was closed. I simply pointed this flaw out and staff became verbally aggressive. UPDATE YOUR HOURS and get a credit card machine. It's 2022 ffs. Cash only for towing is shady.

After a misunderstanding the company worked with me to get my car back. I am grateful.

Make sure you get your vehicles looked at when they tow it because when you ask them to repeat or write out how they towed your car, they think that asking is considered “rude”… yet they are the ones that get rude!!

Customer service was exceptional. Michelle was very polite and helpful. Answered right away and got me a tow right away. Hands down best towing in town. Give them a call!!!

I apologize I don't remember my driver's name, but he was prompt to scoop me up from downtown and take my car to the dealership AND was nice enough to drop me off on the way home! AND was the best price in town! Definitely will be using you all again if I'm in a bind!

very unprofessional. the employees were very rude and aggressive from the moment I walked in for no reason. my car got towed Sunday at around 3 am, and I called many times that Sunday morning but no answer and online it says it was closed. I picked it up on Monday and they charged me for two days because they were apparently open on Sundays via appointment. I was calm and polite despite their attitude but when asking about this they were being very rude and blatantly called me a liar about calling on Sunday and that "google makes their own hours". I will add that I was in no way arguing with them but simply asking a question and was already paying the extra day fee so I don't understand why I was being treated that way. the way they handled it was extremely unprofessional and there was no need to be so aggressive about it. also if you are aware that google has the incorrect hours, is there no way to update that? thats the least this business could do after all this, since answering the phone when they're "open" and showing the least bit of professionalism is too difficult.

Impounded my fiance's vehicle at 1 am on a Sunday morning. Had to call and set up an appointment, where they take cash only. 'Exact' cash only to be precise. I mentioned they should update their system to accept cards and they claim people will dispute the charges. Biggest part I am angry about is the 1am tow without any explanation. They said "that is just when we did it.' Okay? Good luck trying to reason with them, rude and incompetent staff.
