L & I Towing and Recovery

Customer service was below average. I got my car towed an hour of me getting it towed from the mechanic. We had called them & asked about my vehicle and they were completely rude and hung the phone up on us. I proceeded to try & get my vehicle picked up on 10/22 & I told them I needed it to be towed back & they said since it was impounded it would be cheaper for them to tow it back to me I was told it would only costs $80-90. I was told this twice. When I tried to pay for it 10/22 and have it towed the same day they said I was unable to since they didn’t have any tow guys available and that they would waive the fee the following day. When I got there on 10/23 I had to pay full price including for Saturday & I had to pay almost DOUBLE to get it towed back. Which is NOT what I was told. It was $337 impound fees and $147 towing fee. To top it all off the front of my cars bumper was destroyed in the towing process Im sure due to the reckless towing. If possible try & avoid L & I towing completely. Completely unethical and their staff is rude and incapable of having straight communication when it comes to pricing. Definitely do not recommend this company in the slightest and the owner of this establishment should be ashamed and embarrassed of how horrible this company is ran.

No stars. Very unprofessional. First issue was communication. The guy answered the phone like he wasn’t in a professional setting. I had to asked if it was the towing because i thought i misdialed the way he answered. Then I simply asked for a flat bed and how long it would take. He told 2-3 hours, I proceeded to tell I was going to be off in two hours and my insyrance (who set it up) told me it would be 2 hours. The guy started flipping out and told me “you can have some else tow it” Honestly I was in shock, I didn’t say anything wrong but the way he was acting i didn’t want them touching my vehicle so I told him I would and he began to yell more telling me go ahead and HE hung up on me. NO stars. I wish i caught a name. I hope every employee isn’t like him. He’s bad for business.

Friendly and understanding when I called. Then the tow truck driver was very nice and even called me back to double check where I wanted the car since he didn't think I wanted to block a car in the driveway. A little pricey but I still give 5 stars. Nice work l&i towing .... thank you

Shame on this company!! Completely unlawful towing practices. Then called to see what we had to do to get our car back and asked if they were open and was told yes, then the lady said we couldn't pick up our car till the next day. Just kept repeating...that is our policy with no explanation. WAS VERY RUDE. Only escalting the situation. I imagine this place makes a killing off the backs of poor innocent people so customer service is obviously a 0% priority. Then, the next day after getting to the tow yard was greeted again with great hostility and a completle lack of any professionalism as a business. You can tell the people working there are the bottom feeders of society. I'm guessing this is the only field of work that would take them. COMPLETE TRASH!

Bad weather with slow response time from the call to dispatch. Driver was quick and kept me informed. I was in a tricky location so he called to fine tune the directions. Got the car loaded and he hung out to make sure I had a ride.

In the super bad weather, these folks are the only ones that came out in almost a day and a half. They were quick. The gentleman was courteous and it was just absolutely fantastic. I'm keeping their number on my phone now in case I ever need service. Again. Thank you so much for saving me on this and I hope you have a happy holiday!

Calling the number before 8am gets you a half asleep woman who can't tell you anything other than they may have a vehicle that's fits the description of yours, but that you will have to call back when they open....why have a call forwarding service, if all your going to be told is vague information, and to call back later? Over $200 to get back a vehicle that hasn't been in the lot for even 4 hours and then $15 a day after that. They charge up front for almost 2 weeks worth of daily charges for vehicles to have been on their lot for only a matter of hours. Perhaps offering a discounted rate for vehicles that are picked up within the first 4 hours would be great. Also, if you have a contract with an apartment company, perhaps having an online gallery of recent tows that can be viewed once a vehicle is picked up, would be better than having a half asleep woman, who really doesn't know much, answer the phone before standard business hours, might be a better service than having a gallery of all of the "cool" towed items that your company has facilitated.

Sneaky company. Running around doing predatory towing around our apartment complex. Seen the company towing trucks a few times in the last couple of weeks. Today barely parked our truck under 15 mins in front of our apt front doors, to get our boxes and stuff for our move out. Shady business practice. Will fight ridiculous towing bill $202 bill.

This place will tow cars that are on guest parking and you have no way to get a hold of anyone and can't get your vehicle out until the next day. This place is looking to be sued and it will be sued for illegally towing vehicles!!! They will hook up a from the side and drag it out causing major damage to the vehicle. These people are towing cars just to get a payday. Major law suit coming these people are liers too. Was told that our vehicle want there and tells us after I left a review that they had it for 16 hrs. These people are theifs and are only out to make money on vehicles illegally towed beware everyone who lives at the Chatea Bellevue Apartments. !!!!!
