DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Omaha Downtown

Parking garage too short to fit my crossover with a car top carrier so was asked to park at the satellite garage. Said garage was across the street with no signage to indicate it was for the hotel. My S.O. was cat called on our block walk to the hotel which was not great and made us feel uneasy leaving our car easily accessed in the garage. The hotel basically forces you to buy a Hilton membership to use the wifi and there was something that looked like cat food on the floor in our room. Overall not thrilled with the experience especially for how high end the hotel looks and appears to be.

Oh boy. Barely any staff to speak of here. You have to validate your parking every single time you take your car from the parking garage or you will be charged. The lines to do this you ask? Astronomical! Pay almost $200 to stay here and get your room somewhat picked up once a week and a hassle every time you want to leave. It’s an older hotel. Needs upgrades from staff on up. Also one night the fire alarm went off for 15 minutes at like 2 am. No compensation or apologies to speak of.

PLEASE STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. 1st it’s really cold the heating do not work well in the hotel I had to request a space heater. When I did someone on the hotel staff came up to my room named Thomas and told me he would never stay here because they had roaches. I called down to the front desk and they moved me to another room. I asked to talk to the manager Jasmine and she never showed up. I requested to talk to Jasmine numerous times and she NEVER showed up. She just stayed in her office and NEVER came out to talk to me. On top of all the insect problems. It says the breakfast is complimentary when booking and it’s not. You pay for it. I told the front desk and when I was up there another guest was there when I was telling them it was a mistake and the breakfast was supposed to be free she was there for the same reason and we pulled it up on the website and they STILL made up pay. Horrible experience! Stay elsewhere

Great hotel staff that made the stay very nice. The hotel itself had a bit of an odd and old feel. All the the hotel doors in particular seem old, as do the elevators. There is a pretty nice, but small fitness center. Having good treadmills is always a plus for me. The one gripe is the parking, you have to peak down the street a couple blocks.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Room was not turned over from previous occupant, moved my room to a room that still has toothpaste stains in the bathroom, the fridge hadn't been emptied, sheets and shower curtains were stained. Hot water was down, and when it wasn't the shower would take over 10 minutes to warm up. They changed my door battery even though it was not broken because they didn't know how the deadbolt worked. The hot air in the room also didn't work (turned it up to 90 degrees and still blew cold air). Breakfast is overpriced and underwhelming. The tenant across the hall's door was falling off and needed to be lifted into place to be shut. Vents in the bathroom are very noisy, shower drain didn't work properly so by the time I was done showering, I was also bathing. Bad customer service / front desk couldn't care less. DO NOT STAY HERE.

All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly & helpful. Having the shuttle was wonderful. Very clean & inviting.

Older hotel but well kept up. Was very nice you couldn't hear people in next room only when people were in the hall. Breakfast was good. Only complaint would be there were no refrigerators or microwaves in rooms. Have to give a shout out to the amazing front desk lady DAWN. She was extremely helpful and very friendly. Was our first impression with this place and last so she made it a pleasant one. They are lucky to have her!

Terrible terrible terrible experience. We booked our wedding block there for all of our guests (21 rooms total) as well as our stay for the wedding weekend. We get there and our room (which is a presidential suite) is not ready for over an hour after check-in. We had to stand there arguing with the person working the front desk about our room block rate (which by the way we signed a contract for eight months before the actual wedding weekend). Once we finally get up to the room it’s after 430 and the room is in terrible condition. There was bugs, stains on the bedding and furniture, and broken lights hanging from the ceiling. We changed rooms and the second one was not any better. I had to argue with them about that making me late for my own wedding rehearsal. The next morning I woke up (on my wedding day) to ants in my bed and all over the bathroom floor. After checking out I spent over two weeks calling the hotel and Hilton customer service to get some sort of resolution about this terrible stay. I regret having my guests stay there. Terrible experience.

Nice place but my truck doesn't fit in the parking garage so it made it a huge pain to park.

Shuttle driver yelled at us for parking out front while we checked in, very unprofessional person. Room was dirty and we had to get another pillow because one of them was covered in grease
