Avis Car Rental

It was a great experience until I got the bill and noticed a late return fee but I returned the car 30 minutes early. That just tainted the whole experience. Hate being charged for something that didn't happen. Car was great otherwise and picking up was good experience. Great to the end and was totally ruined by the erroneous late return fee.

The vehicle (Hybrid) that I made a reservation several months in advance through Costco Travel was not available and they told me that they usually don't have hybrid vehicles in that location Omaha, why then it is offered? really bad experience for me and my family

Got car guy said probably a battery. Causing the alert. After headed down the road tire alert went off. As you can see there barely any gas in it. They cleared the mpg so I had no idea how much gas I needed to put in it to not over pay for gas so ended up spending more on gas than needed. So they made more money off me. First time renting Avis and I think it will be my last.

it was so easy to rent the car and get through the check out. I have never done it before so was unsure but went very smoothly, answered my questions, and return was incredibly easy as well.

The employees were so very nice and helpful. The car (SUV) was awesome and the rental and return process was very fast. I would definitely use Avis again.

Friendly staff when picking up the car and dropping it off. However, a few issues were faced with the car itself and an attempt to remix I ate the issues during my trip. The car smelled like cigarettes. We were tired after traveling and didn’t notice the smell immediately. But, the smell started to bother us after about 20 mins in the car. The windshield wipers didn’t work properly. They only worked on the bottom half of the windshield. The top was severely streaked. I had to drive during a storm and couldn’t see through the entire windshield. This is a safety concern. I tried to get a replacement car, but Avis couldn’t satisfy my request due to lack of inventory that accommodated a one way trip from Elkhorn, NE to Kansas City, MO. Despite the safety concern with the car. My flight home was a few hours after my drop off time. I was told there wouldn’t be an issue/fee dropping the car off late, after confirming my late drop off time with the attendant helping me - but I was charged $86 extra upon return. Overall, I’m unhappy with my experience.

The agent in Omaha was an angel! The rental agency I had reserved closed and I had no transportation. The agent at AViS took care of me- she was sooo kind, got me an amazing car at a great price! I will only use AVISfrom now on

Went to pick up car and found a well-traveled Kia with Oregon plates. Upon getting in I noticed it had almost 40k miles on the odometer. After driving off the lot the road noise was terrible, I got out and found that the tires must have been original. Barely any tread. Expected better from Avis. Car interior was worn and smelled like mildew.

I went on priceline for the rental (huge mistake, do not do priceline) the charges are nonrefundable. Mine was $155.04, I tried to cancel due to business plan change. (I decided to pickup car not to just be screwed totally out my money)No help since I went to 3rd party( priceline)upon pick they needed my CC for $250HOLD on vehicle, returned car day earlier. Finally, upon reviewing drop off reciept suprised to see all the added fees total $19.39. Fuel charge $15.49 when I returned it on FULL as well as other nonsense charges... Im truly disappointed in this entire situation...Beware of doing anything 3rd party as well, ALWAYS take video/photo, check direct company charges. Ask questions get full understanding before making any commitment...This is SHAMEFUL...
