Athletico Physical Therapy - Central Omaha

I started here in January after my second back surgery. Alex was great to work with. He was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated the time he took to show me how to properly do exercises as well as help me gain confidence.

My husband had such a good experience with Dr.Sara Pohl with a previous back injury, that when I felt pain in my shoulder and neck and my PCP recommended physical therapy for long term relief, I made an appointment with her. Their flexibility in scheduling was amazing. Lots of appointments to fit my schedule and recently when I called to come in early they accommodated without question. Sara was very knowledgeable and explained pain source and remedies well. I feel very comfortable with the exercises and stretches provided to continue doing them on my own. I received handouts with instructions, in office instructions and demo and a website to access with more info. I would go there again if I need it. I had no idea physical therapy was easy and helpful; probably rooted from some misguided previous conception or cliche. It far exceeded my expectations. Also their covid protocols were on par with current recommended practices and screening so I felt comfortable being in the facility during visits. Every patient was spread out and masked. I highly recommend Sara and her staff!

Thank you Sara - for all your kindness and knowledge getting me back on my feet again. I've had multiple surgeries and have gone back to see Sara each time. The surgeries were complicated, I was in a lot of pain and rehab was lengthy. Sara not only had an expertise in her field; she also knows how to cheer you on when you are feeling down. Best Physical Therapy I ever had. Clean and diligent with the Corona Virus extra cleaning. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel so much better after their help. Friendly and fun group of therapists. How often can you say you enjoyed going to physical therapy. Thanks Athletico!

Sara saw my son several times for toe walking. I can't get over the care she provided to a 7 year old. She was very diligent and worked very hard to help my son get better. All therapists, Sara, Anna, and Alex are wonderful and make therapy fun for their patients!

This is a wonderful place to have therapy!! The staff is the best and so friendly!! From Jenny at the front desk to Anna my therapist!! They genuinely care about you and make what can be a painful process come out successful!! I would highly recommend them!!

Sara is great—super knowledgeable about ACL recovery. I appreciate that she monitors the exercises I do during sessions— helps build confidence for doing them at home. Very flexible appointment times and friendly staff! Highly recommend.

I started to go Athletico after having a bad experience and little progression after two ACL surgeries with a different PT here in Omaha. Starting with Sara was scary, as I was afraid I would never get back to normal activities again after having the two surgeries and little progress over those 6 months. However, once coming here I was finally able to begin to recover and start to feel and begin to return normal activity. Everyone in the office is amazing and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and that your care matters. I would recommend anyone goes here for any type of recovery - they are amazing!
