Athletico Physical Therapy - Central Omaha

I had a seven level spinal fusion and hit more than a few complications on the way. It took a year, but now I am happy to report that my pain prior to surgery is resolved, I'm walking better, and my endurance is significantly improved. Thank you Sara - Awesome as always!!

My therapist is Sara Pohl! She is pretty good (so far--haha!) I am recovering from hip surgery and she is doing such a great job with helping me gain back my strength and confidence in that area! She is very personable and always positive with all her patients. Sara definitely is knowledgeable and skilled in her field so if you decide to rehab here, ask for Sara, you will be in good hands!

I love the friendly staff at Excel Physical Therapy. I really want to give a huge shout out to Guy and Sara my Physical Therapists my back is improving more and more each day 😊 I also enjoy the assistance of Marina, Todd , and Taylor. And yes I have a few of the lovely assorted color of your pens that I have shared with family and friends.

I have been a patient with Athletico off & on for several years. The staff at this location is absolutely wonderful ! They take the time to work with you to help you with your health issues and ask a lot of questions to determine what will work for your. The entire staff is to be commended for their professionalism. I would recommend this office to anyone needing relief for medical issues.

I had a hip replacement 3 1/2 moths ago. Because of the excellent care I received from the entire staff at Athletica on Dodge I have progressed quickly and no longer have any pain or difficulty walking! I had a severe strain in my hamstring and it was agitating my sciatic nerve. The specialist thought I would need to get a shot in my back. LUCKLY, I had Sarah Pohl to help me get better. She was awesome and so understanding. She explained everything to me and always made sure I was on track. I honestly can say that without her I would of ended up back at the doctor getting a shot in my back. She also was fun to talk to!!!! The secretary is Great also, she always helped you get scheduled no matter what you needed. Every time I walked in the door I got a HI How are you and of course a temp check..... She was fun to talk with also... Hopefully, I won't be back if I need to I will NOT go to any other clinic or location.. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed coming here for every appointment! Everyone was very welcoming and the exercises were really helpful. I learned things I will continue to do at home even after finishing treatment.

I’ve worked with Sara twice now at the 78th an Dodge location for knee surgery and she’s amazing. Everyone is so welcoming & nice. Sara is great at what she does. Highly recommended. It’s like a little family.

I'm so glad I chose Excel for my physical therapy after my Rotator cuff surgery. My therapist is Sara. She is absolutely wonderful. She is very professional and knows her stuff. During my recovery from surgery I fell down a flight of stairs which made my situation a little tricky. She has been awesome in helping me continue my post-op PT while taking into consideration three broken ribs (same side) from my fall. She knows when to push a little more or back off. She's just fantastic. Special mention to Anna, Kristen, Jordan, and Marina for making my continued PT enjoyable.

I have been served by Sara at Athletico at 78th and Dodge in Omaha on three occasions - for my inflamed Achilles tendon, for a knee bursitis, and most recently for a herniated disc. I can't be more grateful. What I experienced was wonderful. The first thing I want to highlight is that the treatment was personal. Sara recognized that I was not only hurting physically, but that there was an emotional component to each struggle. I was discouraged and she was convincing in her assurance that this would get better. She is a great teacher. She took the time to help me understand my body and what was going on to cause the pain and how the therapy would help. I came to have complete confidence in her. And, she was "just right" in keeping the recovery routines at a level I could do them, without further hurting myself. The nerve pain I had with the herniated disc was really awful. Sara assured me she could help me function again. I trusted her direction and therapy, and learned patience, while I saw the results with each week. I'm now trying to faithfully do the exercises she's given me to do at home, so I can grow in flexibility and strength. I'm sold on physical therapy. And, I'm really sold on this style of PT which is personal, educational and really competent. Thank you!
