Ramada by Wyndham North Platte & Sandhills Convention Ctr

All of the reviews below are accurate. I wish I would have come here and read reviews first. There were bugs in our room, ceiling was coming down (like water damaged a huge bubble, a undesirable smell in the room things all over the hotel are falling apart. The keys for rooms and doors barely work. I didn't feel safe or clean walking from the parking lot to the hotel, the claim was low staff 🤨. The linens looked clean. I pray it was. Lucky for me we just needed a place to lay our heads a few hours before leaving.

Location is great and parking is ample. Reception staff are lovely and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms have exterior or interior entry and my exterior room did have some noise from local traffic (I imagine interior rooms are quieter). Breakfast was great and started early (convenient for early risers).

Front desk lady was amazing! Superb customer service! She was simply being authentic! Not fake customer service friendly, but real genuine niceness! You don’t find that often anymore! Rooms for the price are perfect and killer breakfast in am! Pool, restaurant, and clean! One of my favorite places to stay!

Great spot for a road trip stop - friendly service, amazing restaurant (best Indian food!), clean and easy, the pool and hot tub were refreshing and lovely after a long drive. There’s a Starbucks in the parking lot which is perfect. We loved the buffet breakfast before we hit the road. Pam at the front desk and Chris the manager are 5 stars! Thank you!

We had two rooms reserved. One had no air so we got changed to another room. That one didn't have a working lock on the door. The bathroom door in our room would not shut without putting the toilet seat up. Beds are full size NOT queen. Floor was filthy. We will not be staying there again.

So, I came in assuming my wife had made the reservation. She hadn’t (she’s still awesome though). The guy at the desk patiently helped me and let me know how to get the best price. The room was clean and safe. Then in the morning while eating breakfast (which was quite good compared to other hotel meals I’ve had) a new staff member arrived and she gave me the happiest “Good Morning” I have had in a long while. Made my day. Thanks.

Michelle at the front desk was extremely helpful, and had a welcoming personality. Very clean and safe hotel. Hot tube and pool were very relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty with something for everyone. Would stay here again any time in North Playe.....great price too!

The room has been refurbished but it was sort of like lipstick on a pig. The sleeping area/ main part of the room was fine and the beds were comfortable but the vanity and shower areas were not. There has obviously been a water leak from above. We were on second floor so it was the roof not another room. There was some sort of sticky (adhesive?) on the back edge of the vanity with dead flying insects caught in it. The shower had been painted and the paint was coming off of the soap dishes. The shower curtain rod was not mounted properly so it was sagging. Just not a great experience.

Overall the room was nice to look at, plenty of space. It is a pet friendly hotel. That looks nice and had friendly desk person. The beds were really hard. The AC did not work, it read cooler outside than in doors. And the room showed signs of wear. Such as furniture paneling peeling off and paint on doors and walls pealing or wearing where many hands have touched them. The hallways to get upstairs had some really aged doors that were hard to get through carrying bags. Still, overall, it was a welcome stay. The rooms seemed pretty clean, quiet, and suited our needs for on road travelers needing shelter and a shower.

Awesome service! My room was very clean and spacious! Front desk attendants were very nice. Breakfast was pretty good with buffet set-up of goodies. I wanna give a HUGE shout out to the manager Christopher for working with me and letting me have a late check-out. Overall I would recommend the Ramada in North Platte to anyone!!!!!A+
