Ramada by Wyndham North Platte & Sandhills Convention Ctr

Tonight I get to hear someone play their guitar loudly and poorly in the lobby while I’m trying to sleep in a room facing said lobby. Last time here it smelled like paint thinner, time before that the room wasn’t cleaned from previous guest. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Bathroom was nasty; urine and hair on the outside of the toilet and soap gunk and hair stuck on the sink and mirror. The floors were dirty in the room but housekeeping took over 30 minutes to get up with a vacuum and it was 10pm and I had kids so no time to do anything else.

Because Pam was awesome at the desk. Really great to work with. Her smile lights up the place. You should be lucky to have her. Be sure to stay here!

Great place inside rooms are the best kind of a retro/contemporary vibe in those rooms great hot tub room on 2nd floor. Always good service. Not ever up for breakfast but everyone else says it is good. I usually walk right next door to starbucks...

One of the worst experiences ever. Front desk area looks fantastic given image of Ramada but the rooms are worst. There was flies in the room. Nothing was working phone, tv or hair dryer. I tried asking for help from staff they just said "we have no idea". Breakfast was ok .Don't waste your money "better to stay in motel then this hotel.

Absolute WORST hotel experience have ever had. We booked a group rated stay at this hotel, three nights (checking in on Wednesday afternoon and checking out Saturday morning) over Thanksgiving. In total our family reserved 6 rooms. When reserving and confirming our stay, we were supposed to be staying in King suites. When we arrived at the hotel on Wednesday, several rooms under our names were not ready at all. Several rooms smelled of spray paint and some of our family members were not able to check in until several hours after they had arrived. (Check in at 3 and that is when they had arrived.) The suites that we ended up staying in were actually double queens suites. The King suites we had reserved have apparently been under renovations, according to the general manager and the desk staff. The website still had availability for those suites. The general manager, Chris Casey, was not helpful during our stay at all. He lied to us several times and was very rude and condescending towards anyone in our party when we approached him about issues with our stay. We were very informed that the rooms we had reserved were not available. My husbands grandparents were out in a room that smelled terribly of paint fumes and that did make them feel ill for a day or so. We had to have them move to one of our other rooms on the main floor and then another member of our party had to move to the second floor to find a new room that did not smell like paint. Also, the entire hotel is filthy (see attached photos). We were given a discount on our rooms after several requests, due to the inconveniences as this experience was not what we had been promised but the sales people when we booked our group stay. Aside from getting a small discount on our rooms, we did not receive any other accommodations for all of our troubles. Overall the desk and housekeeping staff were very nice. The general manager, however, was very unpleasant and disrespectful to all of our party. He was incredibly rude on several occasions. I would not recommend this hotel, or this chain, to anyone. We have several members of our party that travel for work every month and help organize conferences across the nation. We will avoid Ramada hotels and any hotels managers by Wyndham at all cost.

Breakfast was great!

We first saw bugs in our room, then had no idea they they didn't make bed or even leave towels. I use to clean rooms even guest who where staying got clean rooms daily. We made a mistake staying here, because of price I guess they feel they can give bad service. OK so spoke to manager his response to quote was "Thats how we roll here" lol. I about came unglued, then more bugs, bathroom was falling apart, I spent 10 min trying to get plug for tub to work. Never will stay her no matter price.

My room was dirty, dead bugs all around the walls, floors were dirty. We placed a towel on the floor to step out the shower. Once we were done we would wipe the floor where water may have been. Pick the towel up and it was BLACK. We requested a new room and was told there were none vacant. Room service knew little English. Wifi was barely working . Hey it was a quick trip to get my daughter set up for college so we made due.

Stayed for 3 days as was working in the area, need fresh towels everyday never got them and told front desk in a.m. that we would need them. Had to get some from front desk at night and the night person was rude and didn't want to get us any because supposedly people stole them all the time. I and my co-worker work for a living not everyone steals, just rude.
