I was informed a few hours check-in that my Queen Suite was no longer available despite my booking this over a month in advance. We were advised we would be accommodated with air mattresses in a lesser room. It's me, my wife, and four kids. When we arrived a little before 10pm after a 5.5 hour drive, Tiffany was there to greet us, and she informed us that she had cleaned and set us up in a now-available Queen Suite. She then got us an extra air mattress anyway and made sure to get my high-maintenance special needs son an "extra soft pillow," and he was positively thrilled. She's great, friendly, and I know she makes less than she's worth. Give her a raise. She's wonderful

Whoever did the remodel of this did an excellent job. Felt modern with a lot of nice lighting accents. The black out shade system made the room pitch black. And the AC was excellent and very quiet. So it was absolutely baffling that the mattresses were so uncomfortable. Way worse than most hotels. Very difficult for someone with back problems like me.

One of the best complimentary breakfasts I have had. Facilities were clean and in good condition.

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and two kids for a family reunion type get together. Hotel is very nicely done and clean, staff was polite and friendly. The few problems we had were the key card shortage (1 per room) and towel shortage (we weren’t given enough towels in our room for 4 people to begin with). The shower curtain was fabric so it filled with water and then just leaked over the edge and covered the floor. We had to use all of our towels to clean up, then trade those to get fresh ones since they can’t give you more until you return what you already have. The pool towels are hand towel sized and there is also a shortage of those. You can’t take them out of the pool area and aren’t allowed to bring room towels to the pool, so the guests must walk back to their rooms wet (unless you bring towels from home or go buy some at Walmart next door). The hall and elevator floors were usually wet and there were caution signs out the whole time we were there, so at least there was warning. I think if they can provide more towels it would solve several small issues that the majority of the guests seemed to have. Hot breakfast was impressive but we have a food allergy in the family so we could not take part in that; we had to bring food from home and go to the store/drive thrus nearby (not their fault but usually hotels have prepackaged breakfast foods with the ingredient labels on them). All in all I would stay again if it were in a small area like that, but I’d bring towels from home.

We’ve stayed here on 3 different occasions this summer for an average stay of 2-3 nights. This is a newer hotel probably built within the last 2 years. The rooms are clean and updated. They have nice large screen tv’s and mini fridges. Pet friendly. Convenient location the I-80 (no interstate noise) and close to Lake McConaughy.

This hotel is brand new... beautifully done. All new rooms. Clean! Good beds . Good pillows. Super under-rated... and at least as good as the holiday in next door for 80 more a night. Haven't had the full breakfast yet. The lighting is gorgeous in the rooms.

The rooms are fantastic, However we requested a king bed, but received two queens. Coffee in room for one. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. No self-serve, the hash browns were nothing more than shredded potatoes, and not very hot!!

This is my first hotel review, and I travel quite a bit. Tried to check in early and was told it would be an extra $30 even though my room was available and there was literally no one in parking lot (keep in mind I paid $160+ with my AAA discount for this room on a Tuesday . . . In Ogallala, NE). The room was clean, but shower only had a soap dish; therefore I had to sit all my showering products on the floor of shower when I showered. The only reason I choose this place was so my friend, whom I was visiting, kids could swim. Pool closes at 10:00 and we were exiting pool at 9:55, and the girl at front desk still confronted us that we needed to get out . . . as we were about to exit. Morning of check-out my friend and her kids showed up to swim around 9:00am, but pool was under “maintenance” for a new filter; was told it would be 20 minutes, but the kids didn’t end up getting into the pool until almost 10:30. While waiting one of my friend’s kids was yelled at by an employee while he was tying his shoes with his foot placed on chair in the lobby (I get it’s gross but he is 8 & had been waiting for an hour+ to swim at this point and, again, for $165 for less than 24 hours does a foot on the hard-as-rocks lobby chair that big of a deal given what I’m paying?!?) Gentleman at the front desk said I could check-out at 11:30 for the inconvenience with pool which was nice . . . I guess. Free breakfast was good but no coffee after it closes and it was closed before 9:20 when it said closing was 10:00 - girls working the breakfast were delightful though & highlight of my stay. Not my worst hotel experience, but definitely, without a doubt my worst experience paying $150.00+/night - literally out of anywhere in USA or any other county I’ve been. Oh & be aware, no vending machines either. (Stay was July 6, 2021 - July 7, 2021)

Good location. The hotel is new and could be nice if service was good.

It was a very pleasant overnight stay including using the EV charger. Staff was great and even had breakfast ready early so we could get a bite before our 6 am departure. Minor annoyance: no shelf for shampoo and such in the new showers - what??
