Best Western Plus Ogallala Inn

Exceptionally clean. I mean every inch was clean, in our room and the public spaces. The pool was set at a soothing warm temp. Breakfast area was spotless and food was plentiful.

Good location of the highway with a close gas station. They served a warm continental breakfast with a lot of options. Rooms were big and clean.

Very new and clean feeling hotel. Checked in about 6p and was told there were key cards could not be made. We had to ask for an employee every time we both left the room to be let in. Several of the guests had to do this, so it was inconvenient for guests as well as staff. Was told we would get a card as soon as it was up and in the morning several of us said that we never got a key when the front seat said he was sure one was brought to our room. Since the pool could only be accessed with a room key we did but get to use that amenity either.

What a beautiful hotel!! Super clean and the staff was fantastic. Took care of our every need!! The breakfast was amazing with so many different options to choose from!! We will definitely be back!!

Checked-in 10/14/22 around 4pm. The front desk young female staff was nice and friendly. Since the hotel's key system was temporarily down the front desk agent had to accompany me to my room to open it for me. I was fine with the key system being down because I understand technical issues sometimes happen, no big deal. When the agent and I were about to enter the elevator, another female staff who appeared to be Hispanic who was sitting on the couches walked up and offered to take me to my room so the agent who checked me in could stay at the front desk. The lady who checked me in told the other agent she will open my room door for me since there were no other guests waiting at the front desk. When I turned around, being a respectful person, to say greetings to the other agent, I got what I can only describe as a brief but disgusting gawk. There was no mistaking she noticed I'm an LGBTQIA person, and she either had an issue with it and/or was unaware that gawking at guests in a way that makes them uncomfortable is very rude and unprofessional. Great customer service! Clean and very friendly staff. I was so happy they had a room and it was handicapped accessible for my mother as we did not have a reservation. I would recommend to anyone as a great place to stay.

We needed parking for our trucks and trailers, we got lucky. Staff was really friendly. The rooms were very nice and modern. Hotel is Pet friendly and offered a pretty good breakfast. Pool was a plus.

Nice hotel. Very clean, modern, and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. All the works. Beds were comfortable and room was quite. No issues or complaints. Would stay there again. Very nice grass area for your pet.

Great value. They were very friendly and helped me with the digital gift card that corporate Best Western had emailed me. They were nice to my dogs and have a very reasonable pet policy. I was traveling with my 2 large dogs this time (79 lbs and 60 lbs). The hotel was new. I liked the gray and aqua color scheme in the room. Everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was good.

What a nice surprise! Extra spacious rooms, clean environment and a wonderful price! Staying in a smaller town can be very hit or miss but this was definitely a hit! Modern design with lots of nice features like a backlit mirror, walk in shower, under desk lighting, laundry, pool, etc. They even had the tap-to-enter locks on the door so I didn't have to fish out and insert the room key! Just tap my wallet to the sensor and it unlocks! The staff was attentive always available and the breakfast selection was nice. I've been to better places, but paid a lot more for them. For the price I expected a lot less than I got. Was pleasantly surprised and if you are taking a nice long road trip on I-80 then this is worth stopping for the night.
