Never again! This was the worst experience. I will never rent a car from enterprise ever again. I made a reservation at Norfolk airport location, like I did many times before. But, this time they denied my reservation and didn’t rent out a car to me, because I didn’t have return ticket! As a result I spent my time, money on taxi and a hotel, because people who work at this location don’t know how to do their job. As I said, I rented a car at this location before and never had a problem. This is the only way for me to get home, I live 2 hours away and fly frequently. According to their policy, if I don’t have return ticket in order to rent a car You need a credit card! Which I did have! Here it is: RENTAL AUTHORIZATION AND DEPOSIT AMOUNT - Disembarking passengers will be asked to provide a credit card or debit card with funds to cover the cost of the rental plus 20%. Renters without a ticketed return travel itinerary will need to provide a credit card to cover the cost of rental plus 20% and an additional $400. Debit cards are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a ticketed return flight itinerary. Money orders and prepaid cards are not acceptable forms of security deposit but may be used to pay any balance due at the end of the rental.  Cash is not accepted. READ YOUR OWN POLICY!!!! UPDATE: Contacted customer service multiple times - waste of time! These people told me I was using a debit card, which is a LIE! This company will never get business from me!

We are sitting here at Norfolk airport, We’ve been wait for an hour for someone to “bring the keys” there is actually six of us waiting, it’s almost 11:30pm and my husband has class in the morning. It’s taking over and hour and we still are just all watching all the other rental places send customers away laughing with in 5-10 minutes. UGH NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS COMPANY!!! your one job, have the car we reserved oh and the keys! Wasn’t there a whole Seinfeld episode about this!!!

My experience renting a car from Enterprise was mixed. The customer service I received at the airport desk was very good. No complaints there. I was surprised that Enterprise automatically puts a larger charge on your credit card than the rental fee. It's deducted later, but this is not something that is advertised. Customer Service overall: 9/10 The vehicle I rented was a piece of junk. Though relatively new, the Jeep Grand Cherokee I was given had trash under the seats and stalled frequently when idling. It handled poorly, also, which may be just a design flaw. I only had to use the car for minimal hours each day. If I had to take a protracted journey, I would have returned the vehicle for a replacement. Vehicle satisfaction overall: 2/10

I dropped my rental off at 105pm. I went into the airport got to drop off my luggage and reluzed i forgot something in the car. I ran out was back there at 117pm and the manager was sitting in booth. I told him I forgot something . He replied w do u see car? I told him type and the I just left. I began to walk to the many cars and I said these aren't them. He said well its gone. I asked him to check where it was and he wouldn't even take my name. I am so UNHAPPY with him and the service he didn't even attempt to give. I will be continuing to contact corporate.

I can not believe the poor service I just received from this location. I reserved a vehicle online several weeks prior to the day of pickup. After getting there at my designed pick up time and waiting 30 minutes in line, I was told by the employee they could not allow me to rent a car because my address did not validate in their system. I have lived in the same location for 4 years, my address matched what was on my license and is only 5 minutes away from the location. I then shared with the employee that I just rented a car from that same location 2 weeks ago. And when I asked who I was told was the manager what changed in 2 weeks that would not allow me to rent a car, the answer I was given was that "he was not there 2 weeks ago to confirm what they did wrong", but he would not be able to accommodate my reservation that I received an email confirming was available for me. I had to cancel a family trip because of this and the fact that no attempt was made to overcome the obstacle was troubling to me. After using this location for years, I will never use it again and will share this with one of Enterprise's major partners that I am employed for.

Awesome experience. I prepaid a rental through Payless but cancelled and went with enterprise and there were last minute deals. Arrived and Keon was such a pleasant soul. Everything was explained clear and retrieving the car and returning was a breeze. We were able to upgrade for a small additional fee and he had great suggestions about the area. He also made conversation inquiring about where we were from which made the experience even more awesome as I like to talk.

The employees absolutely hate their jobs to the point they don't even pretend to enjoy it. I was there for an 8a pickup and there were only 2 employees at the counter serving customers with 4 customers waiting in line. Every employee recited their policy like zombies. "I know the customer is going to say NO but I'll ask because I have to." Anyways, I use my debit card to rent with Enterprise each time I rent. The airport policy is pretty much standard around the US. Total cost plus 20% and travel itinerary with date, name and departure. This location doesn't accept itineraries with non ORF departures. In my case I was returning the car to RDU and presented an itinerary with an RDU departure. That wasn't a big deal, I simply went in the corner and booked a flight from ORF and presented it to the agent. But it would've saved 30 minutes of my life if that information was mentioned on the reservation. They were also out of economy cars - which I reserved a month ago and I was issued a small SUV. I had a long drive to Raleigh and wanted to keep the fuel costs down. I get to the vehicle and ot had a huge rock chip on the windshield. I had to drive to the counter to have it notated on my account. I was offered another vehicle but declined. The vehicle also had a bunch of dirt, water spots on the exterior and trash inside the car. I didn't bother complaining about it and left.

Just got a car from here last minute and everyone, especially Trey at the front desk, was super helpful. After having an issue with hertz (absolute worst) it was so nice to have an attentive, competent and efficient company take care of our last minute request. Great price too!

I just flew into Norfolk, grabbed my bags and headed over to enterprise to pick up my rental. The person who helped me was very attentive and made sure to acknowledge me as soon as I got into the line. When it was my turn, I was only at the counter for like a total of two minutes before having signed contract in hand and heading out to the garage to pick up my vehicle. The vehicle attendant was also very friendly and greeted me as soon as I arrived. He had the keys and vehicle all ready and sanitized. This is personally the fastest I've ever gotten a vehicle and been on my way.
