My rental experience didn't start off great, as I had to wait over 15 minutes just to get through the initial line to check in. They told me I would have to wait 20 minutes for a car but I understood as they were slammed with people. (Although everyone did have reservations, so they should have had enough cars on hand to accommodate). The representative who checked me in even argued with me that I needed to get the toll tag that they offered. I declined, and he told me that I would be charged $15 each time I went through a toll in addition to the actual toll cost. He said there was no way I would be able to get to Suffolk without paying a toll. I'm not sure what this guy was thinking, but I had no trouble avoiding tolls during my 5 days. After waiting 15 minutes after getting checked in, They offered me a minivan, not ideal but it made the wait shorter. The minivan I got was brand new, only 5 miles on the odometer, it was outfitted with leather, heated seats, full touchscreen radio with nav and backup camera, heated steering wheel, very nice for a minivan. No issues during the rental and when I went to return my vehicle they said the office would be closed because my flight was leaving before the airport office opened. However I was pleasantly surprised to find two employees, extremely friendly especially for 5:15am. They made sure I didn't forget anything in the vehicle, got me a receipt (two actually, one showing a zero balance), and assisted me with how to get to the terminal. Overall it ended up being a great experience. Thanks!

To get a car at Enterprise it always seems to take way longer than it should. Much longer than any of their competitors. On the particular rental the rental agreement I had to sign, before seeing the car, indicated no damage and a full tank of fuel. Upon arriving at the car there were 2 long, approximately 8 inch, scratches on the driver's side of the car and the fuel tank was only 1/2 full. I had to go back to the desk where they noted the damage and the 1/2 full tank. When I returned the car, the attendant asked me if I wanted my receipt emailed. I said do you have my email? He said 'yes'. Never got the receipt. Had to go on Enterprise's web site to retrieve the receipt. When I did, I noticed and $18 refueling surcharge. So now I had to call their customer service to get the charge removed. Therefore, about the only good thing that I can say about this rental was that their customer service removed the excess charge quickly and without question and I had a new receipt in about a minute.

I use Enterprise as they are a partner with USAA and find that the pricing, selection and customer service is great. I recently reserved a convertible for a weekend get away. My flight was delayed and I called to ensure that there would be no issue with the car - I was reassured that my convertible would be available but when I arrived it had been leased. I was highly disappointed but the clerk did offer an upgrade. I was really disappointed with no having the car I reserved 3 weeks in advance, however the customer service and cleanliness of the cars was top notch. I recommend and would use Enterprise for future rentals.

I have always been impressed with the great service and support that I receive from Enterprise whenever I rent vehicles from them. in this particular case my flight had been delayed and eventually canceled so a new, same-day flight with a different airline had to be booked. By the time I landed it was already after midnight, but the agent was able to pull up my reservation and process it with no issues. Additionally, I was given a free upgrade to a nicer and roomier vehicle. The support I received was great..

Renting through Enterprise went great. They were very accommodating due to the changes of flight cancellations and changes, because of holiday travel and weather. Bryce and Kyle were fantastic to deal with. Will not be renting from anyone other than Enterprise from now on. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This convinced me and my family to never use Enterprise ever again. It's a long story but to showcase the highlights of our experience: we were lied to, we were given empty promises, and we were treated like nuisances when we tried doing what they told us to do in the first place. I had the itinerary number. I had the confirmation number. Oh, but apparently that isn't enough for you horrid people, isn't it? This is what we get when we live a country where you can buy a gun with little to no hassle but Oh! God forbid try renting a car for 24 HOURS! I hope your messed up system at least allows a refund for the car never given to the intended.

Made reservations weeks before I was flying into Norfolk, arrived at a little after 10pm get to the counter to find out they don’t have any cars. There were at least four other people with reservations that also did not get a car. With this business model I wouldn’t by stock in this company. I have waited for a vehicle at an airport before but never have I been totally left without. I normally am very understanding of issues, but not this time. Poor customer service is unfortunately the norm today. Going forward I’m going to let my wallet do the talking. Enterprise showed that they have a lot to learn about customer service. Extremely disappointed in a failed system and a failing company. I work with a lot of people who travel a lot. I will make sure all of them and Facebook hears about enterprise’s inability to follow through on a customer commitment. #familylefthighanddry

The vehicle was great, however it only had 1/8 tank of gas when issued to me and not a full tank. I had to fill it up and I only used 1/4 of what I paid for. Currently Gas is very expensive, spent over $40. This is the first time I rented from Enterprise, will not make that mistake again.

Karl provided outstanding Service! Had some issues with a reservation made on-line. Despite having a large # of customers repeatedly coming to the counter he was able to resolve an issue (several issues) I had. Not only did he handle things well he managed to do so in a very professional and courteous manner.. Upon returning the car he also made certain that we were given the quoted rate of the rental as a result of a reservation mix up.

Our flight was supposed to arrive late on 3/31/22, but was delayed due to weather. We had reserved a car with another rental, but it was past closing for all the rental companies. They two guys at enterprise happened to still be there and stayed late to make sure everyone from our flight got a rental car to replace the ones they couldn't get from the other companies who had left for the night. I'd like to mention their names but I didn't think to get them.
