Avis Car Rental

Ben was very helpful and always helped me when I had to call and extend my rental. Very friendly and amazing to deal with. Was very easy to rent a car from Avis.

Rented a car and the check engine light came on, when calling the helpline we were directed to a location on 27th and then here only to be told they couldn’t help us at all. So we’re stuck with a broken car. In a snowstorm. We’re stranded here at the airport unless we drive it anyway. Apparently that’s not a problem to them. Really awful communication overall, rude person on the service line, and the first place we were told to go couldn’t help us either. Both said it was “their system” and there’s nothing they can do. I would suggest if your support systems don’t work, don’t rent out vehicles. Thanks for ruining a whole day of a very rare family visit. No help, no care. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Ridiculous fees added without our knowledge! My mom had a reservation and they needed a credit card to hold for any damages- she left hers at home. I came by and used mine. On that card I paid for the upgrade, but was not told that there would be a $52 charge! This is for adding an "additional driver". We told them I would not be on the trip and would not be driving. Had they told us of the fee, we would not have gone through because $52 to use a credit card in this case is ridiculous. Called the location and spoke with Matt- I was hung up on while on hold and then hung up on again when I called back (with no answer). When I finally got through, I got the number for Customer "Care". I called and, after being on hold for 15 minutes, finally spoke with someone who was less than professional and had zero sympathy or understanding of the situation, or the fact that we were not told of this charge. I waited another 10 to speak with a supervisor, but one was not available. Now I have to wait up to 48 hours for a call back to finally resolve this. This is ridiculous and incredibly unprofessional. Absolutely will not be using Avis ever again and will fight this charge with the BBB if it goes this far.

First time I used Avis and was very pleased. I went through Costco Travel and got a great price. I rented a Ford Explorer or equal. I went to pick up my car and expected to get a car I was not going to happy with but I was wrong, I had 3 great vehicles to choose from. Returning was a breeze. I'll use Avis through Costco again.

They were absolutely wonderful to work with. Ben was so nice and helpful. The car they rented to me was a brand new All- Wheel Drive. I had to drive 14 hours one way and it was so comfortable!

People at the desk treated me as a valued customer during pickup and drop off of vehicle. I have been using Avis on my last few rentals and will continue using them. I would go out of my way to recommend Avis to my friends or even strangers because of the great service that I gotten from them.

I am very happy with the service Avis provided. Had some problems and issues with one of the rental cars. Went to another Avis office and they just got us ready with another car in not time at all. Would recommend Avis for anyone who wants to rent a car.

I rented this car through my company. It was dropped off at the company and all I had to do was pick it up and then drop it off when I was done. The car was a Hyundai and was a really nice car. It drove well and got over 33 miles to the gallon. The seats were comfortable and my wife slept in the front seat much of the trip. Everything about the car worked well. We experienced rain , both light and very heavy, some morning ice on the windshield, and even having to use the air-conditioning part of the trip. The steering was precise, though the wheels seemed to follow the ruts in the road some. I never felt out of control. It was a very pleasant trip of over a 1000 miles. It was a great experience and would love to do it again.

The car was HORRIBLE. It was covered with dents and scratches. When I returned to the counter and asked for a different car, the agent asked why. I told him because it's all scratched up and has over 32,000 miles on it. I expect a clean and undamaged car as a preferred member. He told me he couldn't give me another car just because I didn't like the way it looked. The cruise control did not work at all and it would go down and up by almost 10 mph. That could have gotten me a speeding ticket.
