Avis Car Rental

The car was dirty on the outside, apparently their car wash was down. But way worse the car was damaged in the outside with multiple scratches and cracks, literally every seat had cigarette burns on the inside, even the middle console was burned. Can't believe I paid $500 for such a damaged car. I had to call to have someone come out to document the damage, no way I was going to drive away without something in writing. Car was too expensive to begin with. I can't believe no one who works at Avis did anything about the damage and would rent it out full price.

We had a truck driver break down in Lincoln and all he had was a debit card. Avis was one of the only places that would take it for payment. When our driver went to pick up his car, it was too small for the larger man. Matt put him in a much more comfortable car with no issue. We had to stretch the rental time out several times, due to the truck not being finished at the shop. Every time I called, the office staff were helpful and quick. They did not make a big deal of us needing the car longer. We had a great experience!

Easy to get to, always get a good vehicle, and staff is very accommodating of flights coming in after the counter is closed.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with any rental company! Coming out of Lincoln, a small location, couldn’t have gone better! Looking forward to using them again.

I rent from this location often. Keelan is literally one of the best agents at any rental company I’ve ever rented from. Always makes sure the experience with the rental goes well, kind and courteous. Extremely professional, and welcoming. If I’ve ever had any issue, he takes accountability even though he doesn’t have too, and finds a solution. I’m honestly amazed he isn’t the general manager there. I had an interaction with Ben, the guy who is I guess in charge there. He was terrible. Didn’t care that I rent from there often, or that I had free upgrades or even a business preferred member. Matter of fact, he was terribly short with me on the phone, and honestly is not a nice guy. I couldn’t believe the treatment from him. After I spoke with him, I actually canceled my reservation. He was TERRIBLE! However, I’m thankful for the hardworking staff outside of him. They really keep the place afloat and take care of the customers. So I definitely will give this avis location a 5 star because of Keelan and the other reps. But if it wasn’t for them and the hard work they put in, the cleanliness of the cars, and great fleet, I’d go elsewhere cause of Ben.

I reserved a car online paid the rental fee for the vehicle (64.00) when i went to pick the vehicle up was told I would need a credit card for the rental which I don't have. They said they couldn't rent me a vehicle which I understood until they said they have a no refund policy for canceled reservations. The only reason my reservation was canceled was because they wouldn't rent me a vehicle. I called customer service and explained the situation and was told they were issuing a refund. Fast forward 3 weeks have yet to receive a refund and customer service says that a refund was issued ( it wasn't) and can't help me any further. The 64.00 is pocket change but the horrible customer service is a joke won't be using Avis again

They never paid back my deposit. The workers here and no idea what's going on and just make random charges on your card.

Best rental car experience (Avis or otherwise) in my 40+ car rental history! They went above and beyond to accommodate my last minute trip/rental, even arriving while the location was closed, despite how other airports and rental car companies were sold out. They even upgraded the car to one that had radar cruise control, which was awesome for the road trip to Grand Island. If you need a rental car in Lincoln, look no further than LNK Avis! After having a terrible experience at the Avis Car Rental on O street, I decided to come over here. The guy working at the desk (whose name coincidentally was also Evan) was very friendly and super organized and professional. It was a quick and painless experience and I got taken care of. If you are renting a car from Avis in Lincoln come to the one at the airport and avoid the one on O street at all costs.

Nice folks, but the car only had 1/3 tank of fuel when I picked it up. Even though I mentioned this to the agent, and he said no worries, they charged me a fuel fee after I returned the car. I never got an updated invoice and only realized it once I reviewed my credit card bill. Not cool.
