We're supposed to get for 75/day under a employer discount. Rental office never even talked about options or so don't know why we got charged over $400. Update: spoke w a company rep who fixed our pricing, so satisfied w that now just to make sure they explain pricing .they also need more one way vehicles vs roundtrip cars.

I was able to put in a preservation online and decided to use option pay later option when i get there to pick up they tell me they need a credit card non debt card. Only credit card i have is a Chime Credit Card and appa they cant take chime card

Kinda middle of the road with these guys at the airport in lincoln. They were helpful when it came to taking money but not so much when it comes time to return the deposit. It’s been 2 weeks so far. Hopefully I see something back but if not there’s plenty of other car rental agency’s out there. If you rely heavily on the deposit being returned right away I would suggest trying someone other than Avis first.

Best experience I had for first time vehicle rental. I will definitely be back when I need to rent one again.

Avis has the best prices in town and also the best customer service in Lincoln that I can say and I have lots of rental experience so I would say good job I would definitely go back!!!!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Coverages were added to my rental that I did not request. Check your contracts carefully so you don't get ripped off like me. :o(

I rented a vehicle that was less than steller. I picked car up and sales person was just out right rude. The car should have been properly cleabed and repaired before rental. The cars drivers side window rolled down and not back up, the lift gate button to close it was broken.

Rented a vehicle and found it later it was on a donut spare tire. In my years of renting cars, I've never had this experience. Called the desk and they explained that they must have changed tires recently. Roadside assistance tried to be as helpful as they could for it being a Saturday but the only options were buy a new tire or drive 60 miles to get another vehicle. With time being an issue as we were leaving town the next morning, we bought the new tire. Everything else was fine but I was told to come back in a week to get the tire reimbursed as whoever the clerk talked to didn't want to reimburse me at time of return. Just a disappointing and very annoying experience. *edited to update- by end of week, I was able to speak with the manager once he was back from vacation and it was resolved almost immediately. This was much appreciated and I just advise anyone to check their cars before leaving the property to avoid issues like this. I upgraded to 4 stars because the issue was resolved but still a pain to have dealt with in the beginning*

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I rarely write a bad review, but this just deserves one. I rented 3 different cars with Avis in the last 3 months. I don't think there was a single time when they charged me the amount they actually said and not a higher one! I had a flat tyre on one of my rental cars and they usually tell you to go to the closest Avis and exchange the car, that's what I did. Lady in Omaha apperantly cancelled the agreement, started a new one with their rates and instead of paying $1400 which was the price for a month when I booked it, I ended up paying $2600. Another time I rented for a month again, but had to cut the rental agreement shorter, so before I even booked that car, I asked 3 different Avis people, if I would get money back if I return earlier than a month and they all said: "yes!". Even when I booked the car for a month it was $1350, but when I returned, they suddenly said that it is $1600. HOPEFULLY I WON'T HAVE TO RENT A CAR WITH AVIS AGAIN! Once they even charged me a refueling fee, right after I had filled the car 3 miles from the airport! Thankfully, I got that money back after a 45 minute call with the customer service. Just an awful, annoying experience! Overall, the customer service tries to be nice and help, but their system is just awful. The price never comes down to what they say at the beginning! BE CAREFUL!
