Booked a room here about a month in advance, requested an early check in two days in advance, were told an early check in would be granted as long as the room was available at the time, but were garenteed a 3pm check in at the latest. Arrived around 1pm & our room wasn't ready. Hung out until 3pm, still not ready. Found something to do until 5pm, still not ready. We're finally able to get into our room around 6pm, were promised "manager would take care of us", but were only given parking passes for all of the issues. Will not book here again, would not recommend unless you have plenty if time to wait around for a room that you've booked well in advance.

I was totally unaware of the 'credit' and had no idea of when I could use it or even how! This survey really makes me disappointed in this feature from Hilton! How do you expect a visitor to know this when it is not explained or made aware of? My final bill did reflect ANY food credits which I might have not used. QUESTION- do we get the points or are we just totally out of luck and get a 'nice thank you' I apologize but you can see I was not made aware of this and feel you have belittled me as a customer. Sorry that this question was at the end - many of those answers might have been different than 10's !!!!!! At least I can enter my star rating- 1 star!!

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. All of the staff I encountered were helpful, courteous and seemed happy to help. The breakfast was tasty and room service was fast and the food was delicious. I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a positive experience. I'll see you again soon!

Just awful. Room wasn't cleaned. Had to go pick up our own towels when room wasn't cleaned. Front desk never apologized or said why. Rooms substandard for price paid. Location is only thing going for this place. Other options in Haymarket we will stay at next time.

The HGI staff was friendly and accommodating as always. I was glad to hear while checking in that hot breakfast was once again being offered! Obviously there are so many things outside their control, but the hotel is doing a great job keeping a handle on things. Good location with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance.

As a Diamond Member, I was happy with the checking in experience and the staff that was working in the restaurant area our first night there. However, we were disappointed with the morning crew, did not seem to be friendly. We also need some help understanding why every restaurant in the Hay Market area is fully open; trying to understand why the hotel couldn’t provide the full hot breakfast it normally does. We were limited to cold eggs, and cold overcooked sausage and biscuits. We were the last to get a biscuit hearing them tell multiple people after that they were out. Having someone in our party with an egg allergy they were limited to a partially frozen danish the size of a mini-muffin. They didn’t even offer up toast which may have been a quicker alternative. The location and room were great. Just need help on the breakfast.

Fun neighborhood. I was traveling with my wheelchair bound 86 yo Mom for the first time in years. She really appreciate the late check out and she loved the room. I liked the hot tub.

We were snowed in for 2 days. Stefanie at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Her outstanding customer service will bring us back to this hotel again! The hotel was very clean! Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Short walk to many restaurants & bars plus shopping. Will definitely stay again. Got a great deal by booking online.

My room was very clean every day. They have hot breakfast which I really appreciate. Al member of the staff were nice and helpful. I definitely would come back to this hotel.
