Shelby did a fantastic job on my hair, and framed my face exactly how I wanted it! But when she had an instructor come to check, the instructor lopped off a ton of hair in the front, and basically gave me bangs! I couldn’t believe it. Shelby felt so bad and tried to blend it in, but it was such a blunt cut that there wasn’t much she could do. I’m super bummed bc it’s definitely going to take awhile to grow out, and it wasn’t even Shelby’s fault.

Christy T did an incredible job transitioning me from a grown out balayage to a bright blonde this session! My journey to icy has been long, but its so worth it! Maryfer did an excellent job with my hair and only needed help from her instructor once to frame my face with a razor. I am very happy. She is kind, attentive, listened, & made sure that she did her job to my satisfaction. Thank you so much.

Xenon Academy is my favorite place for facials and tanning! The students are incredible and they are always so kind to me! The value for the services provided is excellent as well! The students always go above and beyond to ensure your time is relaxing! I will definitely be returning soon!

I have gone a handful of times and all I can say is I LOVE their services. I have yet to have a bad experience, it is a school so I get new hairstylist whenever I go. My last appointment was with a sweet girl named Illene Q she made me feel comfortable and I absolutely loved the outcome. The atmosphere is always uplifting and I can’t wait to go again. I highly recommend!!

Great experience! My hair was in desperate need of some TLC. Emma made it look beautiful and preserved a good deal of my length. Her instructor checked my hair over before she finished up and he was so kind and encouraging to her it’s easy to see this is a great school. I’ll keep coming back. Thanks again, Emma!

I called and was able to get 2 appointments that afternoon with barbers in training for my daughter and I. My hair trim/cut was great. I was very specific and watched very carefully when there was cutting being done so no cut was taking much more than the split ends. My daughter's barber in training took a too short cut to start with so instead of 2 inches below the jaw it was barely jaw length so barely into 2 pig tales instead of a short pony tale to get it out of the way that she had planned. The instructor fixed it so the look was closer to what she wanted by texturizing the ends to lay down (fluffy hair was making it way shorter than chin length). She is now okay with it but will make sure to watch close and yell "Stop! I want longer hair than that." next time. She did state that she would make the appointment and request a female next time so that she would feel more comfortable since the barber in training actually told her that she was the first girls hair that he had cut. Definitely lack of confidence building unfortunately. I plan on going back to my barber Maurice because he checked with the instructor before cutting with what I had requested. I have the utmost confidence that he will be an awesome barber/salon associate!

I really like the prices. However, I've had my hair colored here twice and the first girl was more experienced so she got it done very quickly. The next time I came in, they used the same color formula but the girl was less experienced so it took her a really long time to apply the color and it was significantly darker than what I wanted when it was rinsed. I'm not that picky and it's cheap enough for me that I don't care, but just remember that it won't always be perfect.

Today I was a model for Olivia W. For Amplify Tape In Extensions! Not only did she do an amazing job placing the wefts, she made a seamless blend of shades muse and vixen. This created a BEAUTIFUL naturally dimensional color. Her talent and professionalism by far exceeds the level of student.

Skylar did amazing!!!!! I went from a blonde rose gold to this fun purple blue combo. I got exactly what I wanted. Skylar was so sweet and is a newer so she is insanly talented! I will see her when it's time for a touch up
