Two Men and a Truck

The movers were polite, but beyond that, inept. They came unprepared, without the straps and packing materials promised when we made the deposit. They suggested we go to the hardware store and buy our own straps. Other than stacking the boxes we had packed up neatly, everything else was thrown in haphazardly. They refused to do routine moving/loading takes like remove legs from tables and properly wrap furniture. In fact, I found wrapping supplies in our home after they left. Nothing was packed in an efficient or even safe manner. Many of my items arrived scratched, broken, and with missing pieces. I would never hire them again. I urge anyone reading to keeping researching and if at all possible, hire a mover local to your area.

I have used Two Men and a Truck twice now and I would recommend them based on price and quality of service.

Guy in the truck was in my apartment parking lot. Didn't realize how much wide of a turn he needed to make. I backed up. He mouthed words and flipped me off. He almost hit me before I backed up too. Didn't seem like he was going to stop so I'm sure I made a face.

Worst move we have ever had in our 50 plus years of moves with the military and as civilians. Inexperienced people, terrible packing(each time I open a box I cringe when I see the broken or chipped items) today I sat and cried when I found a broken ceramic plate 46 years old my husband made while stationed in Alaska the year my son was born. I am still looking for items in the garage that should be in the house, no marked boxes I am at a total lose as to why this company’s performance was so terrible and came at a high price of almost $5000 along with heartbreak!

I think 4 stars might fit better but overall the job was done well. I was also dealing with a plumbing emergency and I told the guys but they thought their work was more important while had sewage flooding my house. However, the guys were great but they forgot to guard the doors and floors. The lead actually did that after the move and took pictures. To me it seemed like he was protecting them instead of helping me. I would use this company again but I will also shop around.

From my first call to Drew to begin the move process, to talking with Cara, not only were they responsive but I appreciate the way they provide you "upfront" estimates so you have a good idea what the cost will be. When planning a move that is so important. As for the moving team of Sky, Al, and Tanj - wow they were super! Sky had so much information for me upon his arrival that I had no need to ask a single question. Further, he and his team made certain if some of the large pieces of furniture were not well-protected when they arrive, they were before going on the truck - thanks to them for taking such good care of my things!

Two Men & a Truck are very compassionate, kind, fast and safe. I have personally used this service twice. I had a really fantastic couple of who went beyond just moving. I don't have pictures, but my words are true. Thank you Two Men & a Truck. Ten stars for you.

The one star is really what this company is worth. The movers were great that loaded my items in Omaha and Cathi was a decent help when I decided to use this company. Christine or whatever the managers name is there is worthless. In fact, she might be a little racist. She attempted to insult my intelligence and then when I asked her a logistics question, she didn’t know what I was asking. Furthermore, she just kept repeating to contact home office and not really helping at all. In short, I was charged extra and that’s not even the issue for me. The issue is I was charged additional money with the hopes my items wouldn’t be damaged and then they were. Not sure how that works and how this company is still in business at this point. I received an invoice from them today, but no one at their office wanted to talk to me about it. When I called the Atlanta office to inquire why the money I owed to their office was on an invoice from the Omaha franchise, they were confused. They also advised they wouldn’t get money from the Omaha franchise so they shouldn’t have sent what was due to them on an invoice. Seems like a shady business practice. Luckily, I already disputed the charges and reported them to BBB so they can work with them on getting their money. They may be great in town, but I wouldn’t use them long distance. The other franchise that delivered my furniture in Atlanta talked about how horrible my items were loaded into the crates. Just goes to show they only cared about getting their money upfront and nothing else. Pay extra and use a different company so you have the peace of mind about your items.

Had Two Men make a box truck move from one residence to the other. It was 100 degrees yesterday. The driver/lead that consisted of Jose and Angel, for this pair was over-the-top professional and just left a peace of mind that was needed throughout the move. He really provided a solid and professional experience.
