Two Men and a Truck

I have used Two Men and a Truck in both Nebraska and Louisiana. Unfortunately, they broke one of my hand made chairs this time, and the thing is, this chair was hand made by me years ago and is part of a matching set. There is no way the young mover / helper did not know it was broken when he picked it up and broke it and placed it inside my house. So my issue is, I did not notice it until after the move and they left because the chair was wrapped with a blanket. My issue is, I was NOT told the arm was broken off. I re-glued and screwed it back, but the fact remains they did not tell me it was broken. There is no way they did not know it was broken, because to lift the chair, they used the arms to pull up on the chair to lift it and carry it. This is the second time they broke something, the first time was a ceramic vase inside a blanket.

First, I must disclose that I did all the packing and wrapping myself - so really, I used the company solely for moving. I’ve used this company once before to help reorganize my storage unit after a previous moving company I used just basically threw everything into the unit without a thought. We got to work with Preacher, Jon and Duane who were all just awesome! They were able to take all of my belongings out and put them back neatly - in a sensible and practical manner; all in timely fashion. I was very appreciative of their work. We just bought a new home and we needed to do our move in 2 parts: 1. Moving out of said storage unit above and into the new home and 2. Moving out of apartment we were renting and into the new home. For the first part of the move, we had the pleasure of working with Aldo and Francisco and they were incredible! This father-son duo was very efficient with their skills and time. When I first moved out of my apartment, it took quite a bit of people (6) to move my furniture. So when these two were able to move the furniture themselves - it was absolutely astonishing. They were able to finesse my larger items through the narrow doors and it was incredible to see. We had requested to work with this duo again and when mentioned to the front office staff, they were dismissive of it. So that was a little annoying. For the second move, the two gentlemen who showed up weren’t bad. They had just finished a job right before - so they were tired and were wanting to finish the job quickly. I didn’t mind them working fast, as it gets charged by the hour, but I also kept a close and watchful eye to ensure they were still taking great care of my belongings. Overall, I left 4 stars because it was quite expensive - considering I did all the packing myself and the front office staff weren’t the nicest to work with. However, the movers who helped us were awesome and did a great job - so I definitely recommend asking for these guys.

Justin, Carlos Sr, Tim and Ammon did a great job with our move.They were efficient, careful with our belongings and worked hard all day. It would have taken us days and a lot more man power to accomplish what they did in 7 hours. Best money we've ever spent.

Called somewhat last minute to schedule a whole house move. I've used multiple companies and this is one of the best. The gentleman who came to my home quickly worked their way through the house and got me settled into the new home. Zero damage to any of my things or the incredibly old building with tiny hallways to which I moved. Fantastic work!

I would never use Two Men and a Truck again. The movers were extremely slow and they did not wrap or load items with care. They charge by the hour and I am pretty sure it took one of them 30 minutes to wrap up a single piece of furniture. It was maddening. On top of that, I had to return with another U-haul to move items that were left behind because they did such a poor job packing the 26' truck. I was questioned by the movers what I would end up doing with what didn't get packed and they specifically asked if I would have to leave it behind (I moved out of state). When I told them I would return for it they were almost surprised and I got the impression they were hoping to take it. The grandma rule doesn't apply to this location. Legs were broken off of furniture and I have stains on my sofa sectional. I found items that I asked be padded and wrapped were not and were damaged. When I contacted them about all of my issues the only thing the Omaha location did was to not charge me for a hour of time that they stood around in my driveway doing nothing. I would never recommend or use again.

Jose and Torren we're my moving team. Very friendly and professional. Took care of my furniture by wrapping each piece individually. They work so fast and efficiently that my neighbor is going to use them to move when they relocate. They never took a break and finished loading within 2 hours. They met me in Republic Missouri right on time and unloaded quickly with no damage to my furniture. Excellent crew.

The 3 gentlemen movers were super nice who showed up on time and loaded efficiently and accurately as we had two different sites for drop-off. They worked hard, were pleasant and quiet. All together a good experience! The office staff was responsive and polite every time we called or emailed.

The website is easy to navigate, I scheduled everything in the evening on my own time and received a call from the office team the next morning confirming everything, signed a few documents electronically and got an email confirmation as well. The movers Jon and Dwayne were very professional, friendly and showed a high level of customer service. They called first to let me know they were on the way, they were on time and completed everything in a timely manner and with great care. They wrapped the furniture to protect from damages and secured all items inside the truck. I was very satisfied with the services overall.

We had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck. The two men who moved our bedroom suite worked quickly and professionally, moving the Spanish oak set from the old house to the new one. Everything was wrapped and padded to prevent damaging our furniture. Disassembly and reassembly were perfect. The whole move couldn't have gone any better.

Don’t waste your time. Service was absolutely horrendous. Your quoted one price, and then basically blackmailed to paying more money to receive your merchandise not damaged. What a joke, multiple pieces arrived damaged and or broken. Issue with receiving possessions, pieces didn’t matched up what was taken from my house. Called to find resolution and customer service was the last straw. Customer service manager hung up on me while trying to resolve issue, she was incredibly rude now I’m working with corporate office to file multiple complaints. Disputing moving charge as many of the contract services were not carried out as outlined. Save yourself the stress and time, pick a better company. ** Wish I could give zero stars or negative stars that’s how horrible my experience was.**
