Aksarben ARS Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing

I have used AKSARBEN ARS for my HVAC needs for years, and I couldn’t be happier. Lucas is very thorough when performing annual maintenance on my heating and AC equipment. He is an excellent communicator, provides detailed operating status information, and cares about his customers. I have also worked with Don - Service Tech Manager. He is a true professional with a customer-first and technician training mindset! Aksarben is fortunate to have these quality employees in an industry that often experiences high turnover.

Matt was fantastic - prompt, polite, educative, patient. Came out to inspect a humidifier system and ended up cleaning entire segments of our furnace and inspecting multiple units for issues. He was thorough in his explanations and transparent in pricing. We signed on for a routine HVAC maintenance relationship with Arksarben due to this great experience. Thanks!

We had both furnace and a/c replaced. They did change duct work on water heater. 2 days after the install, I discovered not just with a shower, but then to rinse out my disabled father's catheter equipment, we had barely any hot water. We had hot water before replacement. I called office on Friday, barely 48 hrs after install to tell them of problem, and all I was told they couldn't get back to my home to fix problem until 5 days from my call to get someone out. It was still early enough to send someone to check it. But NOOOOO! I then called sales agent who sold unit to us and left a message about problem and have yet to receive a call back. So far I'm not satisfied 😕. Dillon and Nate were the installers. Dave was the salesman. Go figure🤷‍♀️ They made right with the problem in a timely manner. Thank you. I do recommend Aksarben H&A/C.

My furnace went kaput during the coldest spell of the year. We had already spent 2 nights in a 52 degree house and Aksarben was the only one I could get out on short notice. From the minute they came in, I felt like I was taken advantage of. Of course, my unit was shot and needed replaced- no cost effective options to fix it according to them. In the end, my HVAC system cost $13,000 (with the discounts)!!! Extremely high compared to others, I found out later. Then I had to call them back out twice more to get it running properly. And it still sounds like a freight train when it kicks on! After talking with 2 friends who have had Aksarben out, they have suggested that both of them replace the furnaces. Yet a second opinion reveals that the units can be serviced without replacement. I will not be using Aksarben in the future... it seems their main objective is to take advantage of their customers!

Jamie did a great job cleaning our tankless water heater. He did the install last year and was familiar with the house and heater. He also asked if anything else needed attention before he left. I appreciate his help!

Today their top notch tech, Brian, was able to quickly identify the issue I had been having with my HVAC system, recommend fixes, and didn't leave until everything was thoroughly explained and tested out in front of me. Aside from a great team of staff on hand, the Aksarben's association with Home Depot for 0% financing as well as their affordable annual servicing plan are what make me highly recommend them. I would appreciate it if the company could give at least a couple hours of a window of time of when to expect technicians to arrive, especially during the work week. Can't expect people to take the whole day off for a potentially 1-2 hour tech appt. There is no 24 hour emergency service as their cards indicate and I did have to call back a second time for service to arrive a week later on a brand new system so that's why I'm at 4 stars overall. Overall a must check out for the area.

I recently installed the google nest thermostat into my home, but was having connectivity issues with one of the wires. Being that I am no hvac expert or an electrician - I decided to turn it over to the professionals and after much research - I came upon Aksarben ARS Heating, Air Conditioning and plumbing. I was able to get an appointment right away, which was awesome. Brandon, the technician sent to help was timely, extremely polite, very knowledgeable, and worked diligently to give us a peace of mind as he fixed our wiring issues, while checking the overall function of our furnace. Definitely will continue to work with this company. If you’re looking for a great team, Aksarben ARS Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing is the one, I highly recommend!

HORRIBLE CROOKS!! My mom's central air unit stopped cooling correctly so the first company I called was Quick Fix. He only charged $50 for the call but gave bad news, the unit that my mom thought was new with her house needed to be replaced. I'll get back to this later. We decided to get a 2nd opinion from Aksarben with a $89 dollar service call. Matthew came out and of course I didn't tell him about the previous diagnosis. The one thing he said that was consistent with the other co. was the unit needed to be hosed down. After performing all the testing, he said that cleaning the unit, replacing a part and adding coolant would fix the problem and it would be 500.00. He also said that if any problems should arise within 30 days they would come out for free to address the issue. The temp in the house remained at 77-80 degrees with a window unit she had to buy. We called them back and they wanted to charge another fee and said it was at the discretion of the tech. This tech now wanted to charge her another 395.00 to run a dye test because there was no coolant!! Plus he was rude and unprofessional with my mom. I am recommending the first company QUICK FIX!! Although he didn't give us the answer we wanted, it was honest. He had nothing to gain since he said up front he does not replace units. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and tried to help us see if the warranty was still attached. Aksarben said what we wanted to hear but it was a lie with a hefty price. Quick Fix didn't say what we wanted to hear but told the truth.

Really good service starting with the phone call to schedule my repair, on time arrival, professional attitude to my needs, explanation of required work and cost, timely work and good cleanup. Aksarben has always treated us well and we have used them for everything including AC and Furnace installation in the past. I highly recommend them.

My experience with Aksarben so far has been great. Had them come out to get a second opinion on something thier competition told me was wrong. Not only did they prove to me that the competition was wrong. But, they gave me options for repairs and or replacement of the system that the competition didn't do. The tech Matthew was very thorough and answered every question I had. Thank you! I would recommend Aksarben to anyone that asks.
