Booked 1 room for 2 nights for a concert in Omaha. Was unable to get tickets for the hotel so I attempted to cancel the reservations. The hotel would not cancel the reservations as I mistakenly made a non cancelling reservation. The hotel will easily be able to rebook the room as the hotel is near full. Very disappointed that they would not work with me. Will be ending my BonVoy membership after 10 years.

As a pandemic bride during the time of COVID, The Marriott Hotel Downtown at the Capitol District is the primary reason I was able to have a wedding reception. After losing our original venue just 7 weeks before the wedding (imagine the panic, tears and chaos), the Marriott offered their space and graciously helped us build "a venue" from the ground up at the Capitol Plaza. They coordinated tent set-up, equipment delivery, hotel accommodations for guests, food menu selection, airport transportation, and the list goes on and on. There is NOT a single request that was not met by them. From their incredibly talented chef who was able to put together an exquisite food menu ( still dream of that strawberry salad & salmon filet) last minute to Vanessa's attention to every detail (she had sweets, champagne and a thoughtful letter waiting for us at the Presidential Suite), I couldn't have asked for more. I mean, for goodness sake, one of the employee even held my hand as I walked across the courtyard and up some stairs in a tight wedding dress so that I would not fall. THAT is exemplary customer service right there. This is just one of the many examples of how the staff exceeded expectations. To add an ever sweeter touch to the event, they displayed a gallery of photos of my husband and I on their mega screen, outdoor TVs. There is so much more I could say, but I'll leave it at this: There is no better hotel to stay at and hold an event at in Omaha.

Very nice hotel, Staff was helpful... nice layout. Complaint is about an odd thing. the lighting in the bathroom is very odd, and absolutely terrible for putting on makeup! I had to go to mirror outside of bathroom , and still found it inadequate. kind of weird,looked like a podcast setup, where the lighting was recessed around the square mirror, and cast white squares of light in my eyes... going to a wedding with no idea of how my face looks! weird, and oddly specific, but, there ya go!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I stayed 1 night and parked my car in the Valet parking to wake up to my vehicle GIVEN AWAY by Valet without a Claim Ticket or Checking an ID!!!! DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR AT THE HOTEL!! It’s been almost 2 months without my vehicle and STILL trying to get a hold of Marriott Corporate to sort this out from August 25th!!!!

Attended a retirement party at the hotel. Excellent staff support. Great location for business gatherings or vacation.

The staff was very nice and helpful however the floors in the rooms were not the cleanest. There were crumbs and stuff on the floor that could’ve easily been vacuumed or swept up. Kind of gross especially having a baby that is crawling. There were also 2 stains on the white comforter that were still wet around it when we got there.

My stay was short but amazing. More than once I said, “ I want to live here” lol. It was clean, airy, comfortable, inviting and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing! And I ordered in from the in-house steakhouse and was not disappointed. …

From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff was so courteous and respectful. The facilities were top-notch and very clean. Our friends wedding was handled with professionalism and the food at the reception was outstanding. I recommend this hotel and its services with no reservations. Keep up the great work.

Everything was exceptional right from the moment I was warmly greeted and efficiently checked in onwards. The rooms were modern and comfortable with all of the amenities for business travel. Even the hotel bar made an excellent cocktail. Lastly really appreciated the assistance with the airport shuttle. My only regret is that I wasn’t staying longer.
