I want to say first that the people working here are all fantastic. Very helpful, friendly, patient; zero complaints about the people. Everything else is just sort of...meh. In a way a hotel like this shouldn't be meh. Such as the sheets don't actually fit on the bed? The first night the corners popped off. I figured hey, no biggie, I do move a lot, but then I went to remake the bed, and after securing one side, realized the other corner could barely be covered by the sheets. The sheets don't actually fit properly. The food when ordering room service is great...but not for the price. I'm cool with fine dining, but usually it means the food is at a certain level to match the price. After I ate, I mostly realized the price is over inflated simply because you're ordering within the hotel, it's like paying for the experience, not the actual quality of food. And since so many food options are within walking distance, it truly isn't worth the price. Speaking of room service, want to find the menu?...me too. Nothing about dining was intuitive at all. Hours, food offered, location, menu - you're much better off calling to ask, because it isn't obviously stated in the tv menu whatsoever. Under room service on the tv, it says you can access the menu on "this guide." Then you play a guessing game which restaurant provides the room service...then when you get there at last, you need to scan the QR code. Just felt like the place is trying too hard to be tech savvy than tech friendly. The air conditioner is sadly fairly subpar as well. It was set to 70, I lowered it to 65 around 3pm Friday when I arrived (I like it cold lol), it was around 75-80 degrees over the weekend, so it wasnt battling massive heat outside, and it marched down to 67 and stayed there. Lastly there was a bible and book of Mormon in the drawers 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ it's freaking 2022, why is this outdated, creepy practice still happening? Overall not a bad location, but really guests pay FOR the location - walking distance to downtown, restaurants nearby, highway nearby, etc - everything else about this Marriott is basic.

Seems like a nice place. Lobby, bar, people are all very nice. We were there for a club inside the hotel so we didn't see the rooms. Nice place to hang out though.

My first time in Omaha NE, my wife and I decided to chose the Marriott in the Capitol District because of the Terrance Crawford fight. I can tell you that we couldn’t have made a better choice, it started from a simple phone call to the hotel requesting early check in with Mrs Denita “ who went above and beyond to meet all our needs and made us feel extremely welcome to the state and the hotel, she is a class act!!! Thank you again. I would also like to give “Makita” the waitress a big shout out for her service and recommendation of things to do and things to watch out for in the area. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Their staff did an outstanding job of taking care of us from start to finish!

I stayed at this Courtyard by Marriott location in Omaha, in the Old Market for nearly two weeks for work training. The second night I was there I a one in the early morning to several bites on my arm. I thought it was bed bugs at first, but I found three spiders in my bed sheets. One dead, and two alive. I caught one of the spiders and took it down the the overnight desk attendant in one of the hotel’s glasses covered with a hotel coaster. I end d up with 9 bites that made me feel very ill. I never was given the chance to move to a different room, never heard from the manager about the situation despite contacting customer service repeatedly, and never recieved any kind of apology. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

We have had the pleasure of producing multiple of our client's weddings at Marriott Capitol District. Their ballroom is great for large guest counts and they provide high end food and beverage. It's also a convenient space for wedding guests to stay. We look forward to designing and producing more events at Marriott Capitol District! Lindsay Martian Event Planner, Lovestruck Events

This property is living on past, positive reviews. Every time you mention something that is an issue, you will get the "excuse" that they have good reviews and that YOU are a "bad customer." Don't ever make the mistake of staying during a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas. You will pay 2-3X what other local hotels are charging and receive BARE MINIMUM services. Hotel is SEVERELY short-staffed. Really, th the hotl should be CLOSED. This is not a hotel that Marriott should be associated with. Someone at Corporate should go in, close the place down, and start OVER with a team that understands Marriott's commitment to service. There are people at the front desk that are down right rude. Silvere was incredibly rude to me during the first night of our stay, and I just had a conversation with Reese, and I am certain he does not understand Marriott philosophy on guest service or satisfaction. In many ways, this "hotel" wants to run like it is still the height of the pandemic: You need supplies? We'll place them in a garbage bag outside your room. You want food? Our servers aren't here. So, eat in your room. You want to order off our menu? Well, we're out of most things. And, don't dare get upset, because "we have great reviews" and "we try to look on the positive side of things." Just don't bother. It's not worth your time to hear all of the excuses. If you are a business trabeler, the Club Lounge was closed for 10 days. "Why bother for 2-3 guests", I was told. "We're only at 27% occupancy." My opinion is this: If you don't want to run a hotel, please close and let someone else run a REAL hotel that provides service.

You have to pay for wifi here... What time period are y'all living in? Get free wifi. You look silly. Friendly service and nice decor in hotel, decent hotel breakfast prices. Carlos the bartender was excellent. Seems like more of a conference center than anything. Rooms had no water pressure in the bathroom sink, barely any water came out. Worn out shower head was very leaky. Nice amenities.

Stay was exceptional. The presidential suite had amazing views of the city with plenty of space to entertain and enjoy the stay. Centrally located within walking distance to everything downtown. Silvere and Graham were attentive and made the stay perfect. Definitely recommend.

This is a great hotel that I've stayed at several times for business. They have a large parking garage that is free if you're a hotel guest. It's across the street from the CHI Center if you're in town for a show and it's about 3-4 blocks to the Old Market area. There's plenty of restaurants within walking distance and even several options attached to the hotel if you didn't want to leave. This hotel is very nice and modern, I plan on staying here every time I go to Omaha.

Spent one night here to celebrate. Room was great. Staff was excellent and very attentive. Melissa at front desk is awesome. However, I was floored by Downtown Omaha! The new park, the Old Market and the people were all great. Not to mention all the lights during the holidays! Magical night!
