I have gotten my hair braided 3 times at Kokos by Mama. I really love how they take pride in the work and services they provide. The shop is clean, the ladies are friendly. I feel very comfortable when I'm there. I aslo like how they do the style you want but with a twist. You definitely won't be disappointed with the finish style. Thank you Koko and Mama.

I got box braids and was there from approx 4:40p until 9:05p. Two people worked on my head. As far as i am concerned, they were nice women. Sure, they speak in their language, but I do not mind that. As long as they are doing my hair that is all I care about. The braiding was not super tight. And all in all I really like my hairstyle. They fit me in on a day a different salon randomly cancelled my appt. Thanks KoKo!

I had a Great experience here. They washed and braided my hair and they did marvelous job! They had about 6 or 7 ladies braiding or weaving hair while I was in there. They also have tribal clothing you can buy. It's a nice hair shop. Make sure you BRING CASH they do NOT take checks credit, or debit cards.

I always leave looking absolutely amazing. Braids are tight and great quality. Such a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Virgin hair growth is the truth and my edges are growing back so quick. I highly recommend Kokos if you need your braids done. Super fast!

I set an appointment with the owner to get my hair braided. Not only was I there but also another client. The shop was closed and no one would pick up the phone or text back. I got a TEXT from Koko the next day offering to take $20 off the next time I came in. That’s not how you do business so I will take my business elsewhere. Reply to the responses, this was in May. I still have the text.

I was able to get in on short notice no problem. There was a very quick response to me booking the appointment. When I got there we got right to business, no waiting. They did a great job, and fast. I will be using them to do my dreads for now on.

September 26, 2018-NO STAR RATING FOR THIS ONE!-""KOKO"" SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS FOR RUNNING HER SHOP THIS WAY!! ""KOKO"" takes $200+ and ""KOKO"" -REFUSES to fix it and she braids very SLOPPY and FAST not to mention -so tight your scalp bleeds-to get your money "UP FRONT" only to hang up on you stating NOT TO BOTHER HER ANY MORE!! ""KOKO"" IS ONLY IN IT FOR THE $$$$. I have reported ""KOKO"" to the BBB hoping this will make the public more AWARE of her GREEDY-UNPROFESSIONAL-LACK OF SERVICE. Next off to Small Claims Court! I am sure a Judge will get my poor investment back! STAY AWAY!!!!!!! Don't try to upload any pictures of your TERRIBLE hair to the public-she won't let you! 4 years later! The experience went very well. Koko and her workers were very friendly and courteous. They listened to what my wife wanted and did a great job. One of the great parts is they have their own top quality hair pieces and strands. They had my wife's hair look just like the picture my wife chose. The price was very reasonable and they had enough help to complete my wife's hairstyle very quickly. The shop was well furnished and very pleasing for me to wait there. This will not be the last time that my wife gets her hair done there.

I thought I’d see how much 4-5 braids would be to put my hair up for a week and not worry about it.. the shop was close to my home so I thought I’d check it out, walk ins were welcome per the sign on the door. when I walked into the shop, a lady asked me rudely what I wanted and told me to sit down. I told the woman what I wanted done 4 or 5 braids, she was extremely rude, Quoated me 80$ She then looked at me assuming by the shock on my face at the cost said rudely “ Not in your Budget? ” I said yes appalled by now and prepared to leave she then told me to put my cheap ponytail back in the bag! I’m not broke and they lost some good business.. I was treated so rudely and she obviously didn’t want my Business. They seem to be all about money and if you want something fairly simple, and your a little different from them ( 🤷‍♀️ ) They don’t want your Business…

I booked online Got an appointment scheduled quickly and when I needed. The service was excellent! My first time getting knotless braids. Very professional, relaxing, enjoyable experience! I will definitely be back!
