Koko braided my 4 year old daughters hair and did a wonderful job! She was patient and the end result was beautiful. I will be going back again.

I went to this place to get my hair braided into a ponytail and Koko did my hair so tight it created a bald spot in the middle of my hair. It's the size of an orange wow. I will never go back there again wow. Then I sent a picture of it and no reply wow

I love Koko. She is amazing when it comes to any type of braids. I bring her a cup coffee everytjme I go. She's sweet. I've been going for three years now. She's good to me.

I would definitely recommend koko's to others! Their prices are fair and I can always count on them to do a great job! And Even if you need something done last minute they can get you in.

My wife wanted hair extensions for her birthday, and KoKo's was the only place nearby that we could find that would do them. They made her an appointment for 7:30am today and said it would be no problem at all. We live an hour and a half away, so my wife had to wake up at 5am to get ready and be there on time. When she arrived, KoKo was not there. When my wife called, she told her to come back at 8:30am. My wife then had to sit in the car for an hour to wait on her new "appointment time". Once KoKo finally showed up, she immediately took my wife's money. ($170.00 + tip up front). When she started working on my wife's hair, she stopped a few minutes in and told her she would have to wait for her to take care of her 8:45 appointment, which had just arrived. My wife sat patiently in the chair and waited for her to finish another customer's hair before returning to hers (even though she had already paid, and was on time for her original appointment. Once KoKo started working on my wife's hair again, she had to stop every few minutes to tend to her screaming children whom she had brought to work with her. This added to the time it took to "finish" my wife's hair. Hours in, once she had almost finished putting in the extensions, KoKo told my wife that her hair was too thin, and they would not work. She left the extensions in, and told her "you'll just have to cover up the top of your head with a headband". My wife's hair looked terrible. It looked like they just smashed extensions on top of her head and tied knots in in her hair with the thread. It ended up being a disaster. It looked like she had a mullet with knots in the top. The fact that KoKo told her to just wear a headband to cover up the extremely visible mess was appalling. She made my wife feel so uncomfortable. Rather than offering a refund, they said that she could make a new appointment and PAY THEM to remove the extensions another day. Are you kidding me? We wasted time, gas, and ruined my wife's birthday present by choosing to give Koko our business. This is a mistake that we certainly will not make again. They don't appear to be registered with the better business bureau, otherwise I would file a complaint there. KoKo, if you read this -- look up your 7:30am appointment for 9/26 call us if you are willing to refund our money for this terrible experience. (I won't hold my breath)

I was in a rush and my regular Hairdresser was not available. So I figured let me try koko's. I truly regret it because I look like a crazy lady. Tomorrow is my anniversary and I wanted to look special. I'm so nervous to let my husband see me looking this bad. Also I'm so embarrassed that I paid for this.

Do not go to this place. They are unprofessional and do a terrible job with doing two simple braids. They used a excessive amount of grease all over my head even on my edges . I got my hair done at 11 am friday 05/04/2018 by that night my hair was a complete greasy mess. These people would not respond to my phone calls or text messages after messing up my hair. DO NOT GO HERE

This past week (my hair has only been up for a week). I have gone to get box braids done in my hair. Now box braids are simple box scouted braids...Look at your pinky... now the first like/crease... put your thumb over that line... that little bit left out that you can see... that was literally no exaggeration how much hair they were about to put into this one braid. Now in the past i would have let it go but i am natural and have been for 4 years now, and just recently did another chop so i really didnt want to be loosing anymore (which later i did) hair because their lack of care. So i asked could you please make the parts bigger. Koko asked what was wrong... they spoke in what i believe was french.... chit chatted then after the other girl started braiding told her to take it down and to make the part bigger. They all started chatting again in french, and at this point i felt like they had an attitude. So feeling tension and very scared i sat quiet. The first braid was done... it did not match how it should look with the amount of my own hair in the braid so i said (in my head after she showed me the first one) .. ok some people are visual learners... (out loud) here i can show you how thick i want the braid and how i would like it to look. I went to pintrest found the pic showed it to them they chatted... again in french koko asked to see it... showed koko... they chatted some more... i asked if this was ok because if not thats ok and i could go and do my own hair i was just too lazy to do it. Koko said no its ok and to sit down and let her girls do what they do. So still super nervous but not wanting to leave because they have already prepped to do my hair they began again. At this point i am about to be in tears because my only thought was they are about to rip my hair out for being so complicated. (This could be irrational thinking seeing how i didnt sleep the night before for health issues) so my aunt called and i just vented to her and i made it clear that i am trusting hands other than myself in my hair and i am hoping that they do not mess it up. Fast foward... while getting my hair done i had knodded off.. been scofted at for knodding off, hair tugged on while combing my already precombed, conditioned, and sectioned off hair so that it was easier for them... about 20+ braids later i have had 4 maybe 5 girls in my head i have nodded off and they were finished 3hrs maybe 4.[Usually with box braids it takes them 7hrs with how they part it] (based on experience given 3-4years ago) she started finishing up cutting MY hair to make it look neat. Finished and usually you get a light oil sheen. I didn't get one.. not thinking much of it.. I said ok. She gave me a mirror to show me and see if i liked it... i didn't and she still had my hair left out in the braids in the back but i hate conflict and didnt know how to go about saying i will give you this much because the quality is not worth $160. So i just gave them the money thanked them and walked out.. A week later my scout broke out in bumps (my hair remedy soothed it), and my hair itself is still starting to come from the braid. Literally about an inch of my hair is escaping the braid. So i go back today to attempt a refund. Koko seen me and said your mom called about you (not my mom, she didnt call)... she told me to sit. I could not and did not want to especially seeing how she was about to have other set of girls/women that wasnt her work on my head AGAIN. No, i told her i am sorry i can't she asked me then what did i want. i explain i would just like my money back. She laughed and said your kidding me looked at my head again and said we dont give refunds. We fix it but we dont give refunds. I told her i am sorry i rather not have anyone else in my head and would just like my money back. After her silence i said ok and walked out to them speaking in french again. Long story short. I dont recommend this hair shop to anyone. They DO NOT care about your hair/opinion, and all they care about is the money you put in their pocket-sorry.
