Holiday Inn & Suites Council Bluffs-I-29, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is very well ran for this time in day. Good breakfast, decent rooms, although our kitchen sink was absolutely disgusting, the hotel was fairly decent. Casino is mediocre at best, lots to improve on, but hard to say if that is due to lack of staff. Room for improvement, but great place to have a good time at a sports tournament for adults and kids at the same time!

First room the a/c unit wwnt poof and started smoking. They quickly moved us to a differwnt room. Quiet and relaxing. Just what we were after.

The road construction in the area made our navigation impossible to use. Luckily we knew this hotel was along with Missouri River. My only issue was the lobby was blocked off for construction getting into the hotel with our luggage was extremely frustrating. On a positive note the room was great the morning breakfast was much better than most complimentary breakfast bars Friendly staff and a nice pool and jacuzzi for the family..made our stay very nice 👍.

The room was really clean! Only thing that was a bother was the bathtub. The tub was EXTREMELY slippery. Luckily I didn't fall but definitely came close. The breakfast was good, it is located off the highway even though construction has it closed off temporarily and you have to navigate through some neighborhoods. Staff was nice.

So we asked about a pack n play for the baby when we made a reservation, they said they would bring it up when we checked in. We asked about it 3 more times when we got there, it never happened, we had to improvise... We also needed extra sheets and blankets to make up the sofa bed. We asked for those a bunch of times too. They kept saying they didn't have access to them, and that none of the front desk staff were allowed to leave the desk, more likely they didn't want to. Eventually they did bring extra bedding but it was way past kids bedtime. They were clearly understaffed in any case, they couldn't handle the guest load at all. The pool was fun. However, it is shared with the hotel next door so it gets extremely crowded. Also the water is a bit off, over chlorinated or something. The breakfast was decent and the location is really good. Probably another hotel nearby would be better.

Great place, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, shows they care and want to help you as much as possible. So it's been great. I'm staying here as long as I can. They are very accomadating to every situation

Almost 5 stars. We stayed here 2 nights. The employee that checked us in was great, very friendly and accommodating. They have a free shuttle that we used, the driver was awesome! Very nice. The room was clean and recently remodeled. My only complaint about the room is that the fan on the A/C would not stay on. It's nice they have an enclosed walkway to get to the casino. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of hot and cold items. Our last day, the employee in the breakfast area was rude and took all the food away before we could get everything we wanted. When we checked out, the employee was also very short and not friendly, almost seemed inconvenienced that we were checking out. Overall a good hotel with some great staff and some not so great.

Our room was wonderful. Loved being able to buy treats & snacks downstairs. The casino & restaurants next door were great & we didn't have to drive!

Easy check in,plenty of parking,only restaurant which was close was the casino sports bar,not great. Breakfast was hot and plenty of entrees to pick from

Clean, spacious rooms with luxurious beds, bedding, pillows and towels. Very good breakfast buffet (try the biscuits and gravy!). Great access to I-80.
