Garbo's - Midtown

Garbo’s Midtown has great services and I always enjoy my time there and leave happy! Shalma Ibarra does a fantastic job cutting and styling my hair. I don’t personally color my hair or get extensions, but I’ve seen her work with both and it’s beautiful. She’s super sweet and friendly and I would highly recommend her for any hair service! She’s the best! I also had a Reiki Energy Healing session with Jessica Wollam. This was the first time I’ve participated in this type of healing and I was very impressed! The whole experience was positive and professional. She walked me through the process before beginning and made me feel very comfortable. When the session was over I felt much lighter and more relaxed. I would highly recommend to anyone who is feeling stressed, anxious, or even just wants to treat themselves to a little extra self care. There are so many positive benefits that Jessica taught me and she is super friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely be going back for another session in the future!

I went in yesterday to get my hair done, they gave me an estimate of $156.00 online for full highlights and wax. I showed my stylist at least 5 pics of the exact same hair color and cut. I simply wanted ash blond hair cut to my shoulders. When we got done it was way darker than it was to begin with and she charged me a whopping$ 353.00 I told her it was too dark but she gave me every reason why it had tp be that way. I know better. She messed up and couldn't admit then charged me ridiculous amount of money. Ill never go back.

Kasey is amazing! I had a last minute cancellation with my usual lash lady, and had important stuff coming up I wanted to look nice for. Kasey went above and beyond to accommodate me. She got me in, took her time, and did such a great job on my lashes!! I also appreciate her upbeat friendly attitude. She does hair too!!! Definitely recommend!

By far one of the best experiences I've ever had. The receptionist was so nice and attentive, the girls are so happy and kind. My hair stylist was Mary Grace and she out did herself. Super kind, super fun to talk to. She answered every single question I had, she taught me how to do my hair she recommended me the best products and most importantly my hair looked just the way I wanted. This place is amazing!

I had bleached and highlighted my hair earlier, after which my hair had become brittle and unhealthy. It was Kara who consistently worked on it and now it looks healthy with no hair loss, just like which I had naturally. Her formulas are awesome, she exactly knows which one will fit in best for your hair. She is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I love her services ❤️

Got my haircut for the first time at this Salon and it was not what I had asked for the first time. But Darcy reached out to me and amended the issue and had a different stylist fix the mistake. Darcy was very nice and understanding and Jessica did a great job giving me exactly what I liked. Overall, first experience was not perfect but I appreciate them greatly for being so nice and willing to help me feel beautiful!

The girls there are amazing. As a transgender woman I felt very comfortable and accepted and Lucy did an amazing job on my eyebrows. Will definitely be going back to have my hair colored and cut!

Got a perfect haircut.! Website mentions 40$+ for women's. In actual, they charged me 66$ for my haircut.

The other day box dyed my hair with black, and it turned out awful. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the black dye out of my hair. Brittany fixed my hair and it looks better than it ever has before! If you need a color correction, Brittany is awesome!! ❣️❣️ Also, the people there were so friendly and helpful! 10/10 salon.

Lauren cut and styled my hair. She was fantastic and I absolutely loved the outcome of my hair.
