Josiah is great! He helped me rehab a shoulder injury and I also meet with him twice a year with the goal of spotting small problems before they become big. Money well spent.

I had been experiencing low back pain for well over a year. Nothing seemed to work so I assumed the pain would just become my new normal. That was until my doctor referred me to Josiah for physical therapy. Not only is Josiah personable and professional, but an exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable physical therapist who completely exceeded my expectations. Josiah clearly communicated and provided me with an understanding of what was causing my pain and what steps we would proactively take to resolve it. After working with him at PT appointments and applying his suggested techniques to my routine, I am overjoyed to say that I am essentially pain free today! When I came to Josiah I had terrible pain and muscle weakness from an ACL surgery that was not treated properly after surgery. I’ve been working with Josiah for awhile now and he has relieved so much pain and inflammation and range of motion issues that I’ve had for years. Josiah is incredibly knowledgable, empathetic, and skilled. He took time to carefully assess my need, walk me through exercises, and explain each aspect of treatment. I have struggled with back issues since an injury several years ago. My last session was one of the first times I felt hope that these issues may not be permanent!

I’ve been treated by Josiah Parker now for two separate physical therapy issues; i.e., hip and shoulder issues. I've known Josiah for years and he has always had the ability to make life easier for his patients. He does this through a fully integrated approach and addresses how one problem area could affect or be affected by the rest of your body. I had been suffering from incorrect overuse of my muscles so much so that I found myself in an urgent care. Josiah addressed each part of my daily routine to ensure that not only would I be able to heal, but prevent it from happening in the future. Such a great guy, 100/10 would recommend!

I brought my 15 year old son to Josiah because he was experiencing low back pain during lifting weights at school. He felt comfortable with Josiah from the very beginning. Josiah identified the issue in the first visit and gave him very simple exercises he could do from home to improve his core strength. He also evaluated his lifting routine and instructed him on modifications to make so that he doesn't continue to injure himself. My son's pain level has improved dramatically in a short time. After a car accident in April, I was referred to Josiah at Elevate Physical Therapy for treatment of a concussion and whip lash. My health and wellbeing are very important to me and after the first visit I knew it was important to Josiah as well. He listened to me and formed a care plan around what would get me back on track. On weeks that I was feeling discouraged he kept amazing records to show the progress I had in fact made. I would recommend Josiah to anyone. His care, knowledge and expertise in concussions got me back on track and back to enjoying the active lifestyle that I love.

I highly recommend Josiah as a physical therapist. I appreciate his willingness to work with me so I can achieve my physical goals. He spent lots of time assessing my weaknesses and creating a program that I could do at home without a lot of equipment. Not only did he show me the correct way to complete the exercises, he explained why they would help me. Even now, while I am working at home, he checks in weekly with positive affirmation, while providing accountability. I feel great and have achieved my first set of goals. Elevate Physical Therapy is fantastic!

I tore my calf muscle and was referred to a physical therapist. After 1 month they declared me all good and complete. Two months later I couldn’t run half a mile without my calf balling up. Then I was referred to Josiah Parker... what a difference!! He takes the time to discuss both your issue and what your goals are with recovery. Then he takes a personal, individualized approach to getting from where you are to achieving those goals. I was so impressed with how my calf was, when my recurring shoulder pain returned I immediately sought treatment from Josiah. I’ve now gone from unable to sleep on my left side to great sleep and able to do all the sports I had been forced to stop or reduce the level of involvement. Perhaps the best recommendation I can give is when my 14-yr old daughter had abdominal surgery there was only one person I was going to trust with her physical therapy... and now thanks to Josiah’s awesome work she’s up and in better shape than she’s EVER been. Like one of the other reviews says, if you have any doubt, just make the right choice for yourself and go make an appointment with Josiah.
