Josiah is the the consummate professional. My appointments are always timely. His assessment and diagnosis of my physical condition was thorough and identified some underlying issues. He prescribed (and demonstrated) exercises to address my weaknesses, and the results have been great. I feel more confident in my regular exercise regime, and my back pain is gone. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Josiah has been great to work with! He has been patient, and professionally helped my daughter understand and work through her hip issues to be ready for running in track season. We would recommend Josiah especially to any other athletes.

I have had two occasions to need physical therapy. Each time, Dr Josiah Parker took care of me and helped to bring me back to my highest ability. He first listened to me, evaluated, then gave me therapy/treatment and taught me exercises to do on my own. I have been working with Josiah as a patient for a long time, at his previous job as a therapist, and at his newly owned therapy center, and he has been nothing but professional and very conscientious towards me achieving my goals. I had a C6 discectomy with a double fusion. Even after surgery, I had atrophy in my upper and lower trap, and he was able to get them back, because of his attention to detail and a truly caring attitude towards all of his patients. Julie is very attentive and able to work with teenagers - which we all know can be a challenge- She was able to take my son from almost being taken out of sports due to shin splints, limping, unable to run 50 yards, Constantly complaining of pain to being pain free! This is nothing less than miraculous because we had tried "all the things". Thank you Julie for giving my son his favorites back. Football, basketball, wrestling, Jujitsu.......here we come! I have worked with Josiah for the past 6 months. I came to him feeling frustrated and scared. I was frightened by the condition I found my body in. Over the past several years I had developed increased stiffness in my low back, and decreased flexibility and agility. It was something that seemed to gradually creep up on me and I really wasn’t sure what had caused it or how I had gotten to this point. I have always been a very active person and have had an exercise routine that I was faithful to since I was in high school. Exercise and fitness had always been a very important and enjoyable part of my life. My husband and I have done Ragbrai ( bike ride across Iowa) and several Adventure races. I recently hiked Pikes Peak with some friends. So to find myself at this point was unexpected, confusing and alarming. I was afraid to bend over or lift anything due to concern that I might put my back out or wrench my neck and reluctant to sit on the floor due to the difficulty it would take to get up. When Josiah asked to share his philosophy with my husband and I, I had hopes that he could help, but I had no idea how much of an answer to my prayers his help would be. Fast forward 6 months… I will admit there was not a quick fix and I am still a work in progress every day. It takes time and commitment to the plan. I can report with gratefulness that my low back is no longer a source of discomfort; my flexibility is greatly improved and if I wanted to, I could touch my toes. (that is something I could never do, even when I was young) My flexibility is improved enough that I won’t fear getting down on the floor with my new grandbaby, who is soon to arrive. My agility continues to improve every day. I am no longer scared, but rather feeling equipped and empowered to continue to grow in strength, agility and flexibility. After several months of regular appointments, I have graduated to a ‘maintenance program’ but I take comfort knowing that at any point if I need direction or advise Josiah is ready and willing. With all this progress, it goes without saying that Josiah’s help was invaluable. I was impressed from day one at his ability to listen to what I was saying, identify the issues and develop a plan. His sensitivity and intuition were evident in his capacity to sense and hear what I DIDN'T say but what needed to be heard and attended to. He has a wonderful balance of teaching and guiding, of encouraging and motivating. His knowledge and expertise is evident in his treatment plan which lead to positive results. I have 100% confidence in his ability to formulate a plan and adjust it according to my body’s response. I would recommend Josiah to anyone who desires to live life to the full to very end of their life!!

I have worked with Josiah for many years as he has helped me manage my headaches. I went from almost constant headaches to living nearly pain free. Then over the summer when I damaged some ligaments due to an ankle sprain, he was there for me again. Not only did he help with the physical part of my rehab, he also was a huge supporter in dealing with the mental part of healing and having patience during this process. And lately as I have dealt with some nervous system issues, both he and Julie have put their heads together to deal with my symptoms. They have put relentless time and thinking into helping me.
