Best food ever, dry aged steak the best and the lobstervi had the other night was the best lobster ever. The owner Dan is the greatest gentleman there is he's very professional and very courteous the the guest needs. Best place will go back many times

I have had several great meals here and steaks are usually good. The best part it the bar. Drinks are very good.

My husband and I had a wonderful date night here! The live music is amazing and the wait staff went above and beyond what was expected. Highly recommend!

Update! Lamb and swordfish was cooked to perfection! Enjoyed home made ice cream and the wife can't stop saying how awesome the cappuccino cheesecake was! They were busy, but the staff was still pleasant and on point. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I had dinner at North40 Chophouse last Friday evening as we traveled home from a crossountry roadtrip. This restaurant is a special place with extraordinary people assembled from across the world - from the chef to the general manager to the owner to the pianist . We had a wonderful meal and an even better time enjoying the music Jim Fischer played and the people we met there. They had specialty cocktails as well as A great menu of many options. We had a Cajun appetizer and I had swordfish and my wife had a special shrimp dish. They were favorable and well prepared. The steak and chop options looked wonderful. If you find yourself in or near North Platte Nebraska, we highly recommend you have a meal at the North40 Chophouse. You will enjoy it!

Food is great, but not great enough for the price! Steak was a little over cooked and sides were under seasoned. Atmosphere is amazing! Management is very attentive and staff is very welcoming and kind.

Got there after kitchen service hours, but told them I was just able to get into town as I haul livestock and the cook agreed to make me a steak and side. Amazing service and very accommodating!

It really was a great meal and probably one of the best steaks I ever had. The service struggled a tinge as our waitress seemed a little unfamiliar with the menu, but she was kind and for sure tried. Our drink were also slow, but that seemed like a simple mistake and the manager made up for it and the drinks were great once they were made. Definitely a place to go to when you are celebrating milestones or anniversaries. Those who complain about price do not understand a nice restaurant because I felt the atmosphere and the food was worth the price.

I visit North Platte one or two weeks out of every month for work and I visit North 40 every time I’m in town—really it’s the only restaurant I eat at. The lounge part of the restaurant is a bit more casual and has a lounge menu that is delicious and more reasonably priced if you’re not looking for a fancy/pricey steak dinner. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it is always delicious. The scallops were fantastic when I had them last! The drinks are always on point as well. The staff are incredibly friendly and there is always a live piano player. My only complaint is that they’re not open on Tuesdays when I want to come in after work! Love this spot and I always look forward to stopping in on my work trips. Highly recommend!
