Motel 6 North Platte, NE

Dana checked me in and she was just wonderful! She was very friendly and competent. I stayed in room 230 and the room seemed tidy and it was nice and cozy warm, and the motel was quiet. I normally love this particular Motel 6, have stayed here several times and will likely come back...maybe? Unfortunately, I got into bed and smelled urine. I checked the sheets, and pillows and everything appeared to be clean. I used my nose and located where the urine spot was coming from and it was in the mattress, on the right edge of the bed and the smell was very strong. It was late, and I was in my pajamas and I didn’t want to call the desk. Also, there is another bed in the room so I slept in that...but I was rather rattled and grossed out. I left a note in the room about the issue. I really hope that going forward, the mattresses are inspected more thoroughly!!! Previously, I had enjoyed staying at the North Platte Motel 6.

We were stranded by a storm and an interstate shut down. We have stayed at a Motel 6 before and found it to be an awful experience. Since we were traveling with a dog, our options are limited. We were nervous about what we were getting into, but since we didn't have any other option, we stayed at the Motel 6 in North Platte. We were PLEASANTLY surprised at how wonderful the place was. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked, shower, TV, etc. We were so stressed out from the storm that it was wonderful to have a place that we felt relaxed. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. It was as nice as any other Hotel/Motel we have stayed at. Since we travel through NE a lot to visit family, I know we have now found our go to place to stay in our travels!!!!!!

The room was a little on the small side but it was very clean. Close to the highway so you hear some traffic noise but the ac stayed on all night so that helped a lot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because our room was non smoking but smelled of smoke & so did the entire 2nd floor. Other than that it was a good stay in safe neighborhood.

Wasn't great. Hallway noise echoed into the room-everytime the door closed, it was very loud. The parking lot signage made me feel very unsafe-too many reminders to lock your valuables. Sink never got hot although the shower did. Bed was comfy but due to the hallway noise all night and the bright lights of the parking lot that the curtains didn't block out, we didn't rest well. The hotel is extremely basic for the price I paid and I most likely wouldn't stay here again. I stayed here because it was in my budget and I was traveling with a cat.

Cleanest motel 6 weve ever been to! Not only did the tv, shower, and all the lights work even the towels were clean! We will be staying again on our way back through.

We stayed one night as part of a cross-country move. We brought our dog, and as such, we were given a dog-friendly room. The room itself was pristine (the card said it was cleaned by Brandi - Kudos!). They had a nice designated pet area, and the front desk lady (Tanya) was exceptionally nice. I probably wouldn't stay for a week, but for us, it worked out very well. I think some of the reviews are unfair. You can't compare a Motel 6 to a Hilton. It's a discount motel. If you want plush bathrobes and room service, you're not going to get that for this low a price.

We are traveling across the country and this is our 3rd motel 6 we have stayed at on our trip. BY FAR the nicest employees and the cleanest facility!! We are so happy and we slept so well. The room was so clean and comfortable. THANK YOU so much for being so accommodating on us showing up late and letting us check out an hour later! We appreciate you guys❤️❤️

Rooms, location and service was really great! Loved the dog area and that they are pet friendly at no additional charge. Comfortable beds too. You can tell Motel 6 is making huge strides in bringing the facilities to a 'better place' yet keeping the stay at a reasonable cost! The only issue we had was the shower pressure - it was almost non-existent. BUT, it got the job done after camping for days so we were thankful for that!

Stayed here for one night, got two standard rooms for me and my sister and her husband and son. No refrigerator no microwave no coffee maker and no hair dryer in either room. Was told doesn't come with standard rooms. I paid $30 each room more for these rooms (with AARP discount), during my two week travels, than I did in any of the rooms I stayed in across the United States.

Front desk clerk was very friendly and nice. She had short hair with tattoos. However the room was obviously broken until the door was broken and barely shut and the toilet didn't work which I realized at like 1Am when I was exhausted from a 16 hour drive.
