Hampton Inn North Platte

Hampton Inns really are hit or miss, but usually a miss. I think this was the 4th Hampton Inn we've stayed at in a row that had a broken bathroom door handle that wouldn't lock.

I really liked the lobby area. The staff, furniture and breakfast was really nice. The beds were comfortable and the TV was easy to use.

Awesome, friendly service. Very clean. Fully stocked breakfast bar with great variety.

Convenient location by the freeway but over priced. This basic hotel with two queen beds should have been around $130 all inclusive but it cost a little over $210 with taxes and fees. Nothing fancy here just an expensive bed and shower.

Nice place but really expected more. The staff was friendly and served w smiles and kindness, the outside and inside were very clean. The room was good and clean but missing something…….no microwave. no refrigerator. Maybe that’s the new thing, but I’m not used to that. Had a microwave meal wanted to eat but …..no microwave. Would have thought there would a bigger choice for breakfast than cheese omelette, sausage, cereal and waffles coming from a place like Hampton. Otherwise I slept comfortably and the stay was fine.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. There was an exercise room too. I absolutely loved their breakfast. The lack of a mini fridge and a coffee maker in the room was very disappointing.

One of the larger Hamptons in which we've stayed. Easy check in and out. Ample luggage cart space. Clean, comfortable, quiet room - made for good sleep. Wish there were tables (even a small shelf) on both sides of bed. Clear desk and bedside table with plug-ins made setting up computer, phones, and other equipment easy. Companion enjoyed the pool (could be cooler) and hot tub (could be warmer). Good equipment options in workout room. Breakfast options included blueberry or malt mini-waffles, cheese omelets, bacon, biscuits, gravy, fruit, cereal, breads and pastries, yogurt. REALLY appreciated separate seating with one television instead of having to hear others' choices; our table was in a quiet, large, open area. Omelets ran out so staff member brought them to our table when more were ready. Good location near highway.

Room and beds were meh but the service was astounding; especially during breakfast and definitely made up for it.

NO WI-FI!! Strictly bare-bones. No refrigerator, no microwave, and no clock. The fitness center is tiny...two people. We had two devices (apple and android), that would not connect to their wi-fi. The people at the main desk seemed somewhat tech savvy, and they couldn't figure it out either. All of this for $170 a night. We won't be back!

Beautiful view of field with deer at sunrise. Lovely hotel, comfy and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Walk to Applebee's.
