Hampton Inn North Platte

I got out of the shower this morning and brought a cup of water to the coffee maker. I was totally naked and the DO NOT DISTURB sign was displayed outside the door. After pouring the water into the coffee maker, I turned around to head back to the bathroom. That's when I saw a female maid in my room who got a full look. I did not hear a knock at the door nor did I hear the door open or close. Talk about a surprise!

Nice hotel and friendly workers. NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE in the room. They use pump soaps, shampoo, and lotion that are installed mounted on the walls. Very eco-friendly.

Not a terrible facility. Got screwed out of $75 though. My name wasn’t on the reservation, as my wife forgot. No exceptions according to management. The pool and hot tub were very small; the jets were weak and tub temp only 101-102 degrees. The entire pool area was in severe need of a pressure wash. No cups in the room!? Overall I paid $200 for a $100 value. Letter to Hampton Inns forthcoming.

Normally I really enjoy staying here. The rooms are comfortable and nice. The price is a little high but for today's pricing it is comparable. My only complaint there is limited parking and my last stay the night clerk had allowed a semi with a 50ft trailer take up about 10+ spots. I had to park by the donut shop across the street. I let the night clerk know got an apology and they just walked away. I'm sorry but to pay 170.00 for a room and can't even park in the parking lot is kind of frustrating specially being a single woman.

It was a wonderful place to celebrate our 26th anniversary. The jacuzzi bath was wonderful. The staff was genuinely friendly. Breakfast was awesome!

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast layout. Our room was clean and changing the temperature was super easy. The rooms didn't have a fridge which was a little weird, but that's the only complaint we had! Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again if we travel out this way in the future.

Instead of merely being "pet friendly" this hotel actually seemed to care about pets, the front desk provided us with a list of resources in the area, and dog treats. The room was clean and everything we needed for the night.

Simply put, not all Hampton Inns are maintained and operated equally.

I do not recommend this hotel. They illegally charged me extra for having a service animal even though I specifically told them that the dog is not a pet. The bathroom floor had pieces toilet paper from a previous guest and the soap scum and mildew build-up in the shower seemed as if it had not been cleaned properly in years. The living room floor of my suite had debris and raisins from a previous guest -- indicating that the room had not been vacuumed in between guests. Also, the couch smelled of pet urine. It could have been human urine, but I'll just go with a pet smell. This is a pet friendly hotel, so there were several dogs. A neighboring dog was barking seemingly non-stop all night. The hotel staff would not relocate me to another room and said that they were sold out -- even tho I saw 5 other guests check-in after reporting the issues I had. I do not recommend this hotel. On the plus side, it is conveniently located across the street from the freeway.

Great stay here! The rooms was clean, nice, and had everything we needed. The people working at the front desk were very friendly, and even called ahead of time to check in with us. The only negative experience we had at the hotel was the pool. Nothing the hotel could control, but there were a lot of rowdy people being so loud, obnoxious, and not following pool rules. Breakfast was great as well!
