Blue Spruce Motel

What a great experience. Called and made a reservation a few weeks ahead of time, because this is where I knew I wanted to stay. The owner was very friendly, even with my late arrival time (traveling from OK to NE). She greeted me upon arrival, got me checked in, and I got my room. The room itself was very nice! Clean, safe, and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this Motel to anyone traveling through the area. I make frequent trips to Nebraska each year, and I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks so much! - Eric L.

Great little motel. The owner Cheryl is great to deal with, I've been working in North platte for months now and she always has my room ready for me. They come in everyday and straighten up and always listens to concerns.

My daughter and I stayed during our trip to Colorado to visit family. Cheryl was simply amazing. The room was very comfy and it felt like we were stayimg in someones guest room in their home. We will definitely stop again on any future trips we make! Thank you Cheryl for your hospitality it was much appreciated!

More than a 5 star Motel! My fiance and I stayed on Valentine's Day-Very lovely atmosphere! Inviting! Felt like I was right at home! Even though we were in the heart of the city, it was very private.Squirels running up the bird feeders in back yard. Easy on the pocketbook! Hostess Cheryl? She is extremely delightful! A must stay!

Will definitely stay here in the future!!! I didn't feel like I was in a hotel, it felt like I was staying in a friends guest room. Bed was super comfy, room was comfortable and had a ceiling fan. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. So glad we stopped!

Definitely not a 5 star resort but customer service at front desk was curious, friendly and very helpful, room was very clean and beds were comfy, great place to stay, DEFINITELY staying there again

Stayed here 2 nights. Room was comfy and clean. Bed was nice with lots of pillows. Ac worked really good which was nice because it was near 90 degrees outside. Was quite and didn't even hear a sound from the other rooms. Lots of tv channels. And most important the price was really good too. I'd definitely stay here again.

It's an older motel, the parking lot is a bit cramped, but the rooms are great! Older, yes, but very clean and updated. The owner is awesome to deal with. You would pay triple the rate for a similar room in another motel. And they gladly accept dogs. My German Shepherd was quite pleased with it too. All in all, I highly recommend.

Pretty nice place for the price. Very friendly staff. Rooms were pretty clean and well furnished, this is the only motel I've ever been at that had "real" bedding (not the cheap white hotel sheets everybody else has) which was nice. Also has proper toilet paper not that stuff that looks like thin construction paper. I really did enjoy my stay for the most part. Only a few minor issues which is why I subtracted a star...Things like no power-strips in the rooms (old building not many outlets), and ceiling fan needing a a good dusting. Also make sure to bring your own shampoo if your planning on staying here... I noticed some people complaining about the temperature of the rooms (temp IS centrally controlled) but I had no problems with that as my room had a electric space heater plugged in beside the bed. Overall nice place,Just a few very minor issues, Nothing that should really detract anybody looking for a place to spend a night or few. Looks like they've done quite a bit of renovating to the rooms over the years, Seems like they take pride in there motel.

My family and I stayed here one night while on a road trip. Our room was clean, warm, and quiet. The shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. The room came with a king-sized bed, a desk and chair, a nightstand, dresser, two armchairs, a flat screen TV, WiFi, and a mini-fridge and microwave. The cost of the room was the most affordable in the area, and the genuine courtesy of the owner, Cheryl, was a pleasant surprise that put my family and I are ease. She went out of her way to ensure that we had what we needed, even offering us her personal cell number in case we needed something and the office was closed. Overall, I'm glad I stayed here. The only thing I'd have liked more is a few more outlets in the room and maybe a firmer mattress, but I have a lot of electronics and also sleep on a VERY firm mattress at home, so most hotel mattresses don't do it for me. Overall, however, I recommend this motel to anyone wanting a quiet, clean, and inexpensive place to get some shut-eye while on the road.
