Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rented a truck from a local Enterprise in Norfolk and from the moment I walked in the door and was not greeted properly, I knew there could be problems. Upon return, my feelings were confirmed when the same representative took my return without any formal greeting nor asking how my rental worked for me. There was an issue with minor damage and this also was not handled in a very professional way. I have been a customer with Enterprise for quite a while and will likely be looking for another company for my rentals. This is sad as I have many points available for free rentals.

The new people at this location it's so pleasant the last rental I had smell just like weed they tried to get the smell out it was in the car for 3 days. That was a lil to much for me. I love the other people that was there and they was so sweet. When you all make the change of people it don't work so good. I am a people person. Overall I always rent from enterprise.

The staff is outstanding, courteous, and willing to help BUT.... My car is getting repaired so I'm renting a car through my insurance. I had to take what they had on short notice on 8/31 which was a huge red 4×4! Understandable. I was told to come back on 9/3 bc there would be an influx of returns but when I got there on 9/3, they'd rented all the "regular" cars and told me I was on the list to get traded out asap. Didn't get a call so I went again on 9/6 and was told that I was still on said list and they'd call me as soon as something more economical was available. Ok. Fine. Well today is 9/8 I STILL have this monstrosity of a truck and I'm JUST being told that 1) the rate is higher for this truck than a standard car AND 2) I needed an actual reservation for a standard car!!! Why wasn't that done last week? How are you a rental car company who doesn't have standard sized cars for a whole week? And why isn't my rate already set to the standard car rate since I was"GIFTED" this truck, why does that need to go through management? It should be common courtesy since this truck wasn't MY request. So yet again I'm on the reservation list for 5:30p 9/10. Another weekend of gassing up and looking for parking spaces for Big Red! Let's see if they come through and get their stars up

First of all I'd like to say there's no other rental agency for me than Enterprise. Their staff is great, helpful, professional, courteous and friendly. Everything went very quick and smoothly. Where I went their were a few agents I'd like to recognize, Luis Perez, Penney Letrude, Emily Latimer. There were others, I just didn't get the names. The guys that clean the cars for example, please acknowledge them as well. Enterprise Rental is for me.

Extremely rude employees! I’ve gone here a few times and have always had bad service, today I called to ask what the minimum insurance deductibles were for them to not require more coverage and I was told “full coverage if you have that your fine” I asked again what the actual deductibles were and he began to speak over me and repeat you’re fine you’re fine you’re fine, I asked to speak with someone else and he said I’m the only one here you have to talk to me and I’m busy, he then hung up on me.

I had my rental for awhile and had to extend multiple times due to circumstances and in every instance working with this Enterprise every single employee was extremely kind, helpful, courteous and I deeply appreciate how I've been treated here. Their customer service is top-notch and the best I've ever seen. I've never had an issue with an Enterprise Rent-a-Car but this one in particular has been awesome. I had a stroller and carseat when I showed up and they switched the vehicle they were originally going to give me for one that would more comfortably fit the stroller in the back, which was very thoughtful, and when I finally turned it in one of their employees drove me and my daughter home and she was awesome to talk to and she was patient while I installed the car seat which takes forever to do correctly (her name was Brittany, I apologize if it isn't spelled correctly). If I ever have to rent a vehicle again in this area I'm definitely coming back here and I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of a rental.

Was told that the vehicle i returned had been smoked out allegedly. I left a car air freshener in the car because the car already had a smell In when i rented it out. Was told by the representative that my deposit would not be returned into my bank account because of this accusation. No evidence (no pictures to prove any smoke damage) when i asked him for proof! Will never rent a vehicle at this location ever!

This is probably the worst rental company you can find. Charges will come out of your account unknowingly and the customer representatives will know absolutely nothing about why your being charged. I will never rent from this company ever again. The worst!!!

Very well-run location (751 Monticello Ave, Norfolk). Staff is very courteous and even an employee that happened to be at location, assisted me with dropoff after hours. Kristin was extremely knowledgeable and finally explained WHY is necessary to have Enterprises' insurance when you already have your own car insurance. I was upgraded free of charge and without even my knowledge, due to limited vehicle availability. After hour dropout was also very convenient! Will use them as my go to location from now on.

The staff were so helpful and kind. I truly appreciated the patience put into assisting me with my rental. I would definitely recommend Enterprise to all of my friends and family.
