Excellent customer service. Great outage map on their website if there is a power outage. Quick return to service. Virtual net metering and Sunshares are creative options that allow for solar purchases. I probably won't enroll, but it's good to know it's their for others in the community.

No complaints about customer service, but as a holder of a Concealed Handgun Permit I find it troubling that I have to leave my handgun when it is time to pay the electric bill

LES is a joke and they represent Lincoln in the worst way when it comes to customer service. Overall as a company they are shady/sketchy with no boundaries on how they go about their business, and their representatives are disrespectful to their customers in any way possible. I spoke with a Customer Service Representative and she asked me why “she should care?” about why my account was messed up. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Wanted to leave a good review for LES. Our power went out today and we reported an outrage online. They called us right away and said they would send a crew out. Not more than 30 minutes later they had it fixed. Just needed to replace a breaker on the power line. Thanks LES for your super fast response!

they FINALLY improved their website and got an auto-pay option put in! only problem is that it doesn't work with firefox, so i have to use google. wish they would make some sort of attempt to sell solar panels on your homes to reduce your bill and also supply the city with electricity. Imagine if they managed to install solar panels on a majority of homes. they could sell our produced electricity to others while also lowering our bills and make money on the parts and labor.

cant pay over the phone, force you to talk to a robot. the automated system sucks and takes 3x as long as when you could talk to a person! when you do get someone they just direct you to a website that is a pain to make an account and log in. billing cycles are not exactly monthly so makes tax preparation a nightmare. so service wise ok but customer service ya you guys suck at that. oh ya only 1 inconvenient place to pay in person down town, was easier for customers to pay @ hyvee and your 27th street location, but no why make it easier on the customers!!

My power has been out for 13 hours. I get there was a storm last nigh but LES needs to have a plan in place for situations like this. I just got groceries for the whole week yesterday. I have bowls of ice, purchased at the gas station, in my fridge but it is likely still going bad. This company is a monopoly and consistently hikes prices, so I expect better results. Furthermore, there are no reps manning their phones. They aren't open on sundays. Most companies have 24/7 support but I guess if ur a monopoly, u just play by ur own rules. This is completely unacceptable LES. They have posted minimal updates, so I have no idea if I should get a hotel room or what. My house is too hot for my family. U need to do better

When we moved something got messed up and we received a first month's billing for $500. This occurred about a week after we moved in. While this was stressful since we received a disconnect notice on Friday and had to wait until Monday to resolve it. Everyone I talked to about the issue was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't see giving 5 stars given the problem, but in my book you get a lot of credit for just plain old being nice about it. ( and yes they fixed the problem )

We had an issue with billing, so they shut off our power without notice and are charging us hundreds in fees and taking our security deposit. We have never received a single notice or warning. These criminals should not be allowed to abuse people obtaining a basic service like this.

LES mistakenly cut our power today. After calling them to see why, they informed us that we missed the due date for our bill. I thought this was odd since we scheduled our payment more than a week ago. Apparently LES doesn’t “see” payments when they are scheduled. So basically we got our power shut off because their system messed up. We didn’t receive any sort of notification that we were about to be shut off either! After receiving a bland, hollow apology, we were told that the guy would be right out to turn our power back on. I am writing this from my phone because we have been waiting (as of now) for over THREE HOURS. This is unacceptable to have this happen because of their mistake. If we had the option of picking any other service I’d switch in a heartbeat. Ridiculous.
