Lincoln Electric System

If I had a choice as a customer, LES would NOT be my electricity service provider. They're charging me a lot for an auto-pay mistake I made and their condescending customer service made me feel dumb about it. Way to go.

Just moved to Lincoln and I am really surprised how bad this company is in comparison to other electricity providers in New York City and Albuquerque. Set auto-payment online when opened the account and finished paying extra fees because I didn't pay manually? This what the customer service agent told me and refused to refund me. Welcome to Lincoln!

I switched over my service and they sent it to my apartment manager. I thought it was strange I wasn't getting a bill. Then my apartment manager sends me a letter saying they received the bill and paid it, and that I now need to pay them back immediately. And I have no money. They really bent me over and gave me a big one. I have no idea what I'm going to do. Probably live on the streets now.

I am pretty disappointed in what Lincoln Electric. Their website is horrible. It is slow, extremely limited in features, not intuitive, and buggy. It is honestly really frustrating.

It's sad this is all Lincoln has to deal with, so you can complain all you want, but they're going to stay in business. I updated them with our forwarding address 2 months ago when we moved...then my husband called them about something else and also had to update them with our forwarding address because they "didn't have it." Then the other day, I receive what is now a LATE bill because they sent it to our previous address instead of the new one they have on file! I don't think real humans work in customer service, and if they do, they're not the brightest crayons in the box. When we first moved into the house in 2012, I called to set up electric and was told our new address "didn't exist" and it wasn't her problem. Well lady, I signed papers for that address so try to do your job a little better =) Then a few years ago they made us pay for an apartment we never lived in...and wouldn't take any proof we provided them that we never lived there! LES is a HORRRRRIBLE company and it's really too bad Lincoln has no choice in who they choose for electric.

AWESOME job of cutting branches away from tree limb that cracked and was catching fire because of leaning on power line. Bucket truck and 2 men with chainsaws worked quickly in the pitch darkness to clear the branches. THANK YOU FOR SUCH PROFESSIONAL WORK.

Why are we not getting more detailed information on what areas are going to be affected by the planned power outages and when? I have a severely medically handicapped son who requires a host of medical equipment. Would be helpful to have this information to prepare better.

Take forever to cash your checks or loses them. I've sent out every bill over a week before it was due, and every time it's been marked as late. I find it almost impressive just how incompetent they are. 2 stars because when I've called, their service reps are actually fairly helpful.

I used to live in Saunders County and Butler Public Power was so awesome and LES is a joke, so rude and so unforgiving. I was out of town due to my brother having a heart attack and they shut me off and forced me to pay a deposit due to being late one time. Out of all the times I have called, I have only spoken to one CSR who was not rude and short with me.

I signed up for budget billing thinking it would keep my bill at a reasonable rate. LES kept raising my monthly payments even though my usage kept going down until I had a credit of $600. At which point I decided to cancel my budget billing. LES at this point will not mail the $600 credit to me. Isn't that interesting?
