Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - Haymarket

Great beer. Had the 12 flight sampler and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. This restaurant is attached to Empyrean Brewing Co and pairs nicely with the food in house. I swear I had food too, lol. Enjoyed a nice juicy burger cooked to perfection with a side of fries.

Service was good but the evening special, a filet with a chile rub, left a bit to be desired. Flavor was weak and it came out warm bordering cool. Was cooked to medium though so that was good. The same for both my loaded baked potato and the green beans. They all tasted fine but I was expecting them to come out hot. EDIT: Just wanted to update my review. I never got the gift card they said they'd send to "make this right".

Very friendly staff and good food. This restaurant offers beer tasting for free. 3 kinds of their beer on tap for free. Awesome! Regarding food, spinach and artichoke dip was good but definitely big enough for 3-4 people. We got fillet mignon and walleye for main course. Fillet was nice and thick but perfect medium rare. Delicious. I liked walleye, too. At the end, we were full and satisfied.

The food was alright. We ordered the full size of onion rings as an appetizer which was too much for 2 people. The sauteed green beans were flavorful, but oily. The ribs were alright, but nothing special.

Prime rib was horrible absolutely no flavor the au jus might as well had been soy sauce tasted like liquid salt. Will not be back. Would buy a gift card for someone else and definitely would not recommend going to

Waited 20 minutes for our drinks. Once the waitress brought the drinks she tells me they are out of one of the drinks. Wait another 15 mins still no drink. Finally had to go up to bar and get my own drink. Ordered ribs for $20 and barely get half a rack. Also barely anyone in the restaurant on a Tuesday so service should not have been like this.

OK food, horrible service Came in on a Friday night about 9ish to an empty restaurant. Passing thru town and eating solo and wanted to relax in a booth but was made to feel unwelcome in the dining area by the hostess. One serve took my order, a different brought my food, a third dropped off my bill and gave it to a fourth to run. None were friendly and all just seemed to want to join the half dozen rolling silverware as the place was virtually empty. Do not recommend, would never go back

The food is really good and the staff was very friendly. However, when we ordered the kid's cheeseburger for an adult, because weren't all that hungry, they were going to charge us the adult price. Why can't we order it and not be punished??

Patio was great and dog friendly. Enjoyed the service, especially for being a Saturday. The food was okay. Sides were great, but the bacon avocado wrap wasn't good at all. It was hard and cold. Two members of my party ordered it, and did not like it.

Yummy food, good house brewed beer, friendly and fast service!
