Great variety of options for food and drink. Wasn't terribly busy but service was still sub par. However she was nice. Definitely would consider going again if I ever find myself back in Lincoln.

We were passing through and wanted dinner and a drink. The downtown location was closest to us. Parking can be a little limited and tricky but thankfully we found a good spot. You pay for meter parking before 6 pm. The service was very friendly. We tried the Winter Hazy IPA and it was very good. For food we tried the beer cheese soup, which was much more cheese than beer in flavor but was still tasty. I also tried what was essentially fish and chips. It’s made with Pollock (hey, it’s Nebraska) but the batter is good and crispy. The prices were very reasonable for a downtown location and we ordered an appetizer, 2 drinks, and 4 entrees (2 kids meals- which include ice cream) for under $70.00.

We had dinner here last night and we were very happy with the delicious burgers. I had never thought to put peanut butter on a burger but it sure added to the flavor. Just make sure that you specify well done if you like your burger that way. Service was great too.

I went on a Tuesday afternoon. There were only a few people there. I sat at the bar and had the Watch Man IPA with fish and chips. I talked to a local couple who were very nice. Joe the bartender was very welcoming to me. It's a great place to go and I recommend you visit when in Lincoln.

My husband and I celebrated our 27th anniversary dinner here. We sat outside because we brought our dog. Our daughters were with us as well. The food was amazing! I got the fish and it was so tasty! My daughter's steak that she ordered was huge! All in all, the food was great! The waitress was excellent! She was attentative and great! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great outside restaurant.

Got the peanut butter porter, it was pretty flat... A bit disappointing for a brewery. However the food was good. I got the fried chicken sandwich, fries are frozen crinkle cut but still good. Garlic aioli is awesome! Would have rated 3 stars if the food wasn't so good!

Great ribs that fall off the bone with delicious taste. Big enough to split with 2 sides, we did two baked potatoes. Nice patio with heaters and sun shades. Busy on football Saturdays but worth the wait.

NOTE: This is also the Empyrean brewery. As we walked in, the table staff were definitely more interested in their conversation than they were having customers as they looked at us like we were disturbing them. We were shown to our table and the waiter was very pleasant, and though he didn't "hover" over us, at times when he was needed, he was pretty much absent. The food? The food came out at a decent time, except the fish dinner I had had other bits of food around it as it had all been fried in the same fryer, common, yes, I know, but the fish was fried so hard and crunchy that it was near inedible and so salty that at the end of what I COULD eat, it left my lips numb. The onion rings appetizers were fried perfect but they also were VERY salty. Now? The beer... I had a stout and it was pretty good, until I got 3/4 through and found a dead gnat clinging yo the side of the glass... the waiter apologized and literally SAID, "We've had a problem with that, lately." Which leaves me wondering why they have such a problem with insects behind the counter, when we only saw a couple of flies in the dining area (which is common). All in all... would I go back? At this time, I am really NOT impressed. I'd have to think about going back. Also, if they have a problem with gnats in the brew area or the bar, I'm a little suspicious of how clean they actually are. I know things can happen, like insects, however when a place has a problem that the wait staff is aware of and having to explain it to customers, maybe it's time to address it. Get it together, guys, this place has a pretty decent reputation to let it start going downhill.

Really good food. Steak salad was excellent. Service was a little slow but they could have been short-staffed. My salad came a good 5 minutes after everyone else in my party's sandwiches and chicken dishes.

Have been coming to this restaurant for a long time now (over 20 years). The food is consistently good and the atmosphere welcoming and warm. This is a staple restaurant in Lincoln and also has its own brewery. I'm not a beer drinker, but I hear they have great drinks and they tell you which beer pairs well with their dishes. Definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner if you are in Lincoln.
