Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - Haymarket

Decided to go to Lazlo’s off a recommendation and said why not. When we arrived we were greeted by a beautiful interior and fast seating. From there it was all downhill. We were the last in our section to be waited on and treated like we were young dumb kids. I ordered a local brew and had my I.D. scrutinized (I understand business have to do this) but when other tables around us ordered alcohol it was a quick glance then handed back. Our service after ordering was a snails pace at best and the food was cold. The waiter we had would constantly be refilling drinks, delivering drinks, and checking on food at the tables bordering us. Most if not all tables around us had showed up after we had and we were always the last to receive anything (especially good service). My partner had ordered something that she found a bit too spicy for her liking and asked politely to have something else. When the waiter took it away he yelled out in an annoyed voice for most likely a manager and I could vaguely hear them chatting rudely about how she found the food too spicy. When asked what she would like in place of the food she asked for a Caesar salad. This salad took approximately 25 minutes to arrive. A table adjacent to us had a similar issue and was treated spectacularly. The same waiter we had, apologized and reassured them the food would be taken off the bill and had a replacement meal on the table within 10 minutes of the complaint. This either blatant discrimination of age or just bad service for us in particular is sad and we will most likely never return to this establishment. Hate to get recommended a restaurant that people say they love to find it treats some people so terribly.

This place was amazing. We were here over labor day weekend and it was the day after the first home football game of the season (we were visiting from out of town to go to the game). My only complaint was that it was BUSY, but with those two events in play, any restaurant was this weekend. We waited around 35 minutes to get a table at 8 at night. We also had to wait a while to get service at our table, but when we did, it didn't disappoint. We ordered prime rib and a bit later the manager showed up at our table to apologize that they had run out of prime rib already. We switched to rib eye and it ended up being absolutely delicious; as well as being cooked properly (rare and medium rare as ordered). The manager came back and apologized again and ended up comping our entire meal; drinks included. The customer service was something I had never experienced before. Kudos for going above and beyond! We will definitely be returning as soon as we are in Lincoln again.

when people said this place was amazing, they were not lying!!! we got the spinach artichoke dip that our server Craig recommended to us. and absolutely delicious!!!!!! Very fast very friendly service, Craig was FANTASTIC!!! And the person who brought us our food was so nice too, the hosts as well! my spicy chicken sandwich put me in food heaven. will be back VERY SOON

Good beer, neat environment. It's kinda like a bootlegger, beer cellar, 1700s secret location in National Treasure kind of place. They've kinda fallen into the trend of overly flavored stouts, but they all taste good so I can't complain. Didn't try the food, but staff was friendly and efficient, plus they carried around tablets with a full digital menu so they could help you choose a beer more easily. Solid.

Sat at the bar and it was amazing!!! Bar tender Charlie was fantastic!! Had a 13 beer, beer tasting… $9.50!!! Whaat?!? Dinner was great, salad and a lavish. Seriously everything was sooo good!! Can’t say enough about Charlie! If you’re in Lincoln, NE this is a MUST!!

We were passing through and wanted dinner and a drink. The downtown location was closest to us. Parking can be a little limited and tricky but thankfully we found a good spot. You pay for meter parking before 6 pm. The service was very friendly. We tried the Winter Hazy IPA and it was very good. For food we tried the beer cheese soup, which was much more cheese than beer in flavor but was still tasty. I also tried what was essentially fish and chips. It’s made with Pollock (hey, it’s Nebraska) but the batter is good and crispy. The prices were very reasonable for a downtown location and we ordered an appetizer, 2 drinks, and 4 entrees (2 kids meals- which include ice cream) for under $70.00.

Beat the rush, bit of a wait but it was worth it. Salmon was perfect, kids meals were solid, burgers were perfect. Definitely forgot a good picture before civ inhaled it! I've cream across the street is a must!

Place was very busy so service was a little slow. Drinks were good. The food was fine, but given the price we were expecting a little more. Virtually no seasoning on the green beans, and the steak was a little tough.

Awesome atmosphere, great location, also have a patio. Inside of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. Service was speedy and efficient. The food was delicious. I had the salmon, and it was one of the better cuts of salmon I have eaten in a long time. Was hesitant to get fish in landlocked Nebraska, but lazlo’s cooked my salmon filet to perfection. The hickory smoke grill adds so much flavor and the filet was cooked to a perfect, tender, juicy medium! It was falling apart and melting in my mouth, highly recommend!
