Honest Abe's - Meadowlane

New location just a door down and now with outdoor patio. We dined there for lunch yesterday. Best burger in town and you have to get parmesean truffle fries- da' bomb!

This place is awesome. I hadn't visited (as I'm from Colorado) since they have moved into a larger location. I came in right at lunch time, must have beaten the rush, didn't wait to order, and my burger was just as tasty as I remembered. I always try to go here when I visit my family. Top notch! Would be nice if they brewed some tea to have instead of just fountain drinks though.

I was an avid customer until last Saturday after the Husker game. When we arrived there was only a few people dinning. We were told there was a large amount of door dash orders and it would be a 45 minute wait. I let myself get pretty upset over the ordeal and suggested they change policy and serve the customer first who actually come to dine in person at their restaurant. Im just saying people who come in person to dine should be priority over door dash. That will be the end of Honest Abe's for me.

I'm not from Lincoln but was told this is the first place I needed to come for food. I am so glad that I took that recommendation because this is one of the best burgers I've ever had in my entire life! I had the fireside Burger which consists of many different ingredients one of which being jalapenos but it was not too spicy at all don't let that scare you away. it also has toasted cumin on it which was a great addition to this burger. A must order are the parmesan truffle fries with awesome sauce. I will definitely be back and we'll try many different burgers next time.

They have an interesting take on Abraham Lincoln's take on history and food on the walls. 😄 The food was delicious! I got an 1809 burger on a bed of lettuce and Freedom fries. …

1st visit did not disappoint! I got a burger with peanut butter on it! It was AMAZING! Best burger I have EVER had! We also tried the Aphrodite. It was also delicious. If you come to Lincoln you have to come try a burger here!

By far the best burgers I have ever had. Highly recommend stopping by and getting some.

Our hamburger's were extra salty. Other than that, it was pretty good!

Tonight we phoned it in on making supper for the fam and headed over to Abe’s. The kids burgers were, and always have been, a great value. They’re also probably one of the better plain cheese burgers you’ll have, if you can sneak a bite. I begrudgingly skipped the fries to get a double patty (more protein). Double patty, Fireside….holy yum! Wow. The kitchen was on point tonight. Cooked perfectly medium, good sized patties, and lots of the fixin’s that you know you love from the Fireside. I opened the box at home after my wife said “careful, it’s heavy”, and I was like oops over-ordered. But you know I finished it. If you haven’t been there in a while, you need to get back. Thanks Abe’s for high quality, locally owned great food.

Oh my Gauss! This place is amazing! Everyone has burgers. And there are a few places that have craft or specialty burgers. But this is the first down-to-earth place that has burgers that are downright culinary! My girlfriend had “The Best Burger in America,” with perfectly cooked bacon and a delightful sauce with hints of cumin in it. I had “The Fireside,” which caresses you with flavor before washing you in a tidal wave of heat and spiciness that never leaves you in agony. The Freedom Fries and Freedom Tots are crisped and flavored perfectly and pair perfectly with their House Made Ranch and the Abe’s Sauce (to compare it to honey mustard is to do it a disservice). If you like hamburgers, please head down to Honest Abe’s as soon as you can!
