Honest Abe's - Meadowlane

Drove through here on a road trip. Saw the reviews and I wanted to try it. Ordered a burger and fries and a chocolate milkshake. I can't remember which burger it tried but it had cheese onions and mushrooms. The burger and fries were tasty. Mouth watering really. The chocolate shake was very sweet. I took a sip and couldn't drink anymore of it. I'd come back for the burger and fries.

I had high expectations going in and I'm happy to say they were not only met but exceeded! The burgers were thick and juicy and cooked to perfection! I loved the fries too! Usually an afterthought, they were crisp with a unique but not overpowering seasoning. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Highly recommended!

Got one of the specialty burgers with the ghost pepper cheese, it was fantastic. Service at the desk was friendly, food does take a restaurant amount of time to come out. Food was in turn hot and fresh, fries were a little heavy on the seasoning but good with the dipping sauce provided. The tea was good as well. For those wary of the ghost pepper, they do serve milk as a drink! The other party got the 1776 (? It was the name of a year) and enjoyed theirs as well. The meats were juicy and bacon just before crispy. The desk was up front about allergens. Did not get a chance to see the bathrooms

Solid burger. I’m glad I didn’t get the double because I would be in a good coma right now. The queso on these fries is amazing and as good anything you will find in Texas or anywhere known for great queso.

Fantastic blends of flavor and uniqueness. Tonight's burgers had a great crust of seasonings. 🍔🍟

I'm from out of town, and i must say that these burgers and freedom fries were pretty amazing and very delicious. It's definitely best in town! Service was great and fast!

We were passing through Nebraska and decided to look up the best burger joint in Lincoln. Since Honest Abe’s was the only burger we had, I can’t tell you if it’s the best around, but I can tell you it’s one of the freshest, tastiest burgers I’ve had.. ever. I would full heartedly recommend Honest Abe’s to everybody. I had the double El Jefe burger which uses Ghost Pepper pepper jack cheese. It was spicy but not too bad. I have a high heat tolerance. My dad got a different burger that had jalapeños and sriracha ketchup but it wasn’t very spicy.. it was very tasty. The fries, particularly the Parmesan cheese fries, were fantastic. The shakes were tasty as well. The fresh beef though was the highlight. It was juicy, it was hot, it was so good.

Really solid burger. Great flavor and nice spice on the one I ordered. The tots were crisp and salty. My wife said the vegan patty needed more texture. It was on the pasty side, but she loved the fries. The kids both enjoyed their's. I'd come back, for sure.

First visit to an Honest Abe's and I loved it! The burgers were juicy with tons of flavor and the fries were delicious. The shakes were good as well. Service was excellent. One of the best burgers I've ever had ( Thor burger). It had chipotle cream cheese, bacon mayo, and pepper jack cheese.

HOLY BUCKETS!!! This place is worth the stop!!! The fries are so yummy & seasoned just right… OH don’t forget the ranch it taste like dill but very tasty.
