Graduate Lincoln

Edit: Spoke too soon. Hot water was out for the whole hotel my morning of checkout, so I was unable to take a shower, which sucks. The staff were all super helpful and I understand that there was only so much that they could do. Gave us a discount and free breakfast, which was nice, but not having hot water is pretty rough. Downtown Lincoln so great location. A variety of restaurants, bars, breweries, etc. within walking distance. Have stopped and stayed here multiple times and the staff have been fantastic every time. The hallways are a little outdated but the rooms are very clean, comfy, and modern. Always reasonably priced - highly recommend a stay here if you're in Lincoln.

The only bad thing I can say about this interesting place is that the only thing they offer complimentary in the morning is coffee. The rooms are unique with attention to detail. Decorated with all the things that make NE, we Nebraska. They have corn on the Cobb curtains, roller skate lamps and room keys that look like student ID cards. The shower was warm, the room was clean....it was a good place to stay.

We will never stay here again. The staff seemed to be very confused and unorganized. The remodel job is repulsive. I felt like I walked into a 1960s back road dive motel. The elevators are the slowest in the world. The breakfast buffet was simple, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage etc basically the same breakfast you get for free at most hotels. This cost $12. The worst experience was booking the shuttle. I signed up for 4:30 but when the time came they didn’t know who would drive us. I think they flipped a coin. (Ha) I told them we would need a ride back in a few hours. They said just call us. Later when I called them they basically said “sorry we don’t have anyone available to get you”. So we were stranded miles away from the hotel. I think when you offer shuttle services you need to stick to that promise. The room was clean but again the furnishings were childish and just plain hard to look at. Beds are the tall variety. You know, the kind you can’t sit on to put your shoes on because they are so tall. Just was a pretty miserable stay. It was so much better when it was a Holiday Inn. Also there is a $35 early check in fee. I was told check in is 4:00pm but it says 3:00pm on the room door. Saw people sitting in their cars waiting to check in.

I’m so thankful for the Graduate team! We were traveling through Lincoln, NE from Maine after our wedding completely exhausted. Brittany was a friendly face at the front desk & checked us in so quickly! We were so excited because all we wanted to do was get to bed. We traveled with our teardrop trailer and we were so worried about where we would park our car & trailer the whole team helped make it happen 😅 they shuffled cars around to accommodate us! Reverie was a rockstar! She was calling her connections in the city to help shuffle other cars around so are vehicle could be accommodated. There was another young lady who jumped in & helped assist too, along with Andy. The whole team really took such great care of us on a busy night. I so appreciate their kindness and willingness to help! They also congratulated & celebrated our recent marriage. It really made us feel special! We love the Graduate & stay at this hotel often when traveling across the country, but this team went above & beyond. We are so thankful!

This is a unique hotel- lots of retro decor unlike the typical commercial hotels. The rooms were for the most part clean (see photos). The staff was great! It was great to valet the car for such a reasonable price - they also have self parking and an indoor pool that is open from 6AM to 11PM

Loved the atmosphere as you walk in the lobby. Rooms were very clean. I am very skeptical when it comes to hotel rooms and this was one of the very few that I felt comfortable enough to even walk around in my socks in the room. Our room was on the 11th floor so we had awesome views of Lincoln! Breakfast had very few selections, but the usual, eggs, pancakes, and bacon, sausage, fruits, juice, coffee, but either way it was great. The only issue I had was the pool area - we were told that the pool was heated, but when we got there, the room was a bit chilly and water wasn't as warm as I would've liked. I was there with my 2 yr old so we tried to get in the water but got back out after a few minutes as it got cold quick. Hope we have a different experience next time as I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Lincoln!

It's really easy to love the Graduate hotel chain. It's always spot on for the city and cheesy in the absolute best way you can imagine. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, and it's always a great price overall for what you get. I really enjoyed the indoor pool at this specific location.

I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. My room was nice and clean. Good ac as well. The food was great and at reasonable price. I felt welcomed. I also enjoyed the art! I was so glad when I was able to get my car parked for me from the valet. The guy who parked my car was very kind and respectful. I believe his name was Andy, I was pleased with his performance and attitude. I had no worries about my car. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend this hotel highly!

The hotel is excellent, in a great location within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, and the university. The room was super clean, spacious, and comfy. The front desk folks were super helpful when we had questions or needed a recommendation for a local place to visit. My only complaint was the price of parking. I get that it's a city, however, it's still small and not worth spending $25 for a convenience factor as it would be in other larger cities where you have to walk miles to find free parking. Aside from that, it was super and we will for sure be back again!

Best Hotel experience ever!! Lincoln was just a place for my night stay on my cross country road trip. I booked it without knowing much about the place and boy was I surprised. The staff was super friendly and nice. The rooms, decor and everything about the hotel was very aesthetic and the theme it was going for was spot on. The design of this place was excellent and the rooms very clean and had their own personality. I wish I could’ve stayed here more than a night, but I would definitely come back just to stay here!
