Graduate Lincoln

I read all the reviews and must say I was disappointed. The bathroom was dirty mold in the shower grout lines. There were gnats flying in the room which was repulsive. The room was just truly was a disappointment and needed a face lift. Experience was sad!

While I enjoy this hotel, I did not have a good stay this weekend. I was charged $200/night at check in despite my reservation being booked at $119/night. One working elevator for 16 floors and being sold out was unacceptable. The restaurant also cannot handle the anticipated crowd - running out of plates at the buffet.

Great spot in Lincoln for pretty much anything you might want to do. So many bars and things to do within walking distance. I would definitely stay here every visit to and through Lincoln.

What a fantastic place! Clean rooms, upmost friendly and professional staff. The bar down stairs staff as well was very awesome! & their breakfast/food was amazing too!

I have stayed here for more than 3 weeks over the last 2 months for work. Unfortunately only one stay was enjoyable.. Usually I book a king room, but upon checking in they tell me they don't have any King rooms available... not sure why you'd let me reserve it then initially? The worst and most recent was no hot water for an entire week!! They said they were working on it.. but the plumber was on here one night then never. It was a rough week.. Then they overbook rooms and don't have sufficient parking to accommodate all the guests.

Great hotel with exceptional customer service. Very clean and comfortable. We were especially impressed with the help we received from Jeffrey, the valet. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

Enjoyed a weekend getaway here with my bride. It's located in the historic Haymarket district, offering a great selection of dining venues and shops. Our view to the north included the district and Memorial Stadium. The styling is unique with lots of interesting State of Nebraska memorabilia on the walls, plaid furniture, fun wallpaper. It's not modern, but has a timeless feel without feeling "dated". They didn't have a king size room available as I had booked in advance, but they did comp a breakfast buffet for us which was good but not anything special. The room bathrooms are quite small. Only one of our card keys ever worked. We could always here the icemaker machine next to our room. The bed was comfortable.

After staying in several Graduate hotels I’ve come to the conclusion they are more about clever branding than delivering a good experience. Attitude by front desk staff was meh. And my benchmark for a good stay is the availability of morning coffee. Here they had nothing either complimentary or for sale - in spite of a price list in the snack area which clearly included a price for coffee.

The lack of listening skills is indescribable. First off, you would think when someone orders for the room to be clean, they would do it....The cleaners go around multiple times only to still skip your room. Even if you call into the front desk, they "forget". Even the neighbors didn't get their rooms cleaned. Second of all....The bedsheets had brown stains on them and weren't changed, and there was a brown stain splattered across the carpet. The water even shut off so you weren't able to take a nice, warm shower. I hope guests start getting compensated for the lack of cleanliness. If someone nicely asks you to take out the trash on multiple occasions, change the stain ridden sheets, etc, you would think they'd do it. I have stayed at 3 star hotels that were better than this. This place is a mess for a 4 star hotel.

If I could give more stars, I would. Kitschy and quirky and a lot of fun. From the plaid carpet, to the corn wallpaper, to the Nebraska state facts on the wall, everywhere you looked your senses are assaulted. The front desk staff were amazing, they let us park our huge van in the loading zone overnight, the gave us breakfast vouchers (I believe this happened due to our wide-eyed wonder and childlike delight at the place.) The hotel is a little dated, our bathroom had seen better days. And some random guys ran from floor to floor screaming something about some corn huskers in the middle of the night. But all in all it's a great value.
