Embassy Suites by Hilton Lincoln

Highly impressed with this hotel this week. We picked this hotel to host a business meeting because they are the only Hilton hotel in town that responded to me when I asked about renting a boardroom. The embassy would’ve been my first choice anyway but I appreciate the fact that Dana was very easy to work with and helped me coordinate everything to set up my meeting. She was quick to respond and happy to answer all my questions. Add in all the usual Embassy things like 2 room suites, cook to order breakfast, evening reception with free drinks and snacks, indoor poor and on-site restaurant. On top of all of this, we actually were here during a tornado and the hotel‘s response to the very scary sirens going off was to clearly communicate with the overhead speaker, quickly set us up in a boardroom where they brought us and waters and snacks and kept us comfortable while we rode out the wild weather. Everyone was very calm and handled this perfectly! Big props to the staff at this hotel for making our stay all around excellent!

5 star hotel without the 5 star pricing! The second I walked in I felt under dressed because the place was so nice! I was greeted with valet parking and a care package from the front desk including 4 free drink tickets. The food at the bar and grille was amazing, the price was even more amazing. Guests and bartender made for great conversation. Valet service took all the anxiety out of parking. The room was perfect and the air purifier and water purifier were exactly as described. This was the first time I saw a hotel bed and couldn’t wait to sleep in it. Name brand toiletries we’re also a nice touch! I will only book embassy suites from now on based on this visit! Breakfast the next morning had free buffet and free made to order food. I could not believe the value and service I received.

The Bad: It used to feel so special staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, it is in desperate need of updates and a deep clean. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was rust around the tub, the floor was stained with some kind of substance, there was garbage under our sofa (visible when walking in the room), and it was generally just not clean. It was also loud, but that was from children and street noise, so I don't fault the hotel for that. The Good: The staff was wonderful and very welcoming! Everyone we met was so kind and we appreciated that. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Kudos to the chefs for my delicious made to order French toast and bacon! This property has potential to be great again. I really hope they make all of the necessary updates to make it as good as it used to be.

Very lovely place with good food. Temp was a little cool overall inside and service was a little slow but very friendly.

Have stayed here many times and I love it every time! It is in a great location with access to so many places! All of the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is always excellent and very convenient. Will definitely continue to stay here!

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at… do not stay there EVER. We ended up leaving and not staying the second night because it was so incredibly disgusting… surprised the health inspectors haven’t shut them down.

There are amenities were not as they advertise on the website there wasn't two restaurants there's not a heated pool they had a 60-year-old push and oxygen concentrator from the check-in up to the second floor and down a very long hallway and I was on oxygen then my cousin Tina who's not a senior but she's 50 had to push our luggage after she loaded it outside and then the second day we come back from our massages and lunch and there's no ballet and Lucas was checking people in then there was another person at another desk doing absolutely nothing after Tina was down there for about 10-15 minutes Lucas told her the valet was at the airport so she told him to call the room when the valet got back then the valley ask us if we're going out this evening and Tina said we didn't know and he said that if we weren't he was going to park the truck and the garage doesn't seem that embassy suites caters to their customers as far as myself being a senior citizen I believe I was treated poorly and unprofessional I could say more but I think I'll stop at $200 a night your tub s******* trip you shouldn't see drywall and you should get made service for towels and making the bed every day you stay luxury hotel I think not their website is deceptive

We made a last minute stop in Lincoln, NE while traveling to our destination. We loved the hotel and town so much. The atmosphere and service were great. The sofa bed mattress could use an update as it was pretty thin and could feel the springs, but otherwise it was all good. We would definitely recommend and will stay again.

I went on their website to order a room for my birthday. I saw the extra fees for reserving a room in same town I live in, so I hit the cancel button on the screen but order went through. I went to cancel order and was still billed for the room. I called the customer service line and was told they could not refund me and refused to give me back the reservation. My Credit card company had tried to dispute charge and I was still charged. I tried to contact hotel directly and never got any kind of reply. I will never stay here and I would avoid. Poor customer service.
